We rent this house, and are not allowed to make alterations to anything, so when the fluorescent tube burnt out in the walk-in closet, I tried to find a replacement tube that would work in the existing (ballast required) fixture. I tried different fluorescent tubes, but none of them were bright enough, so I decided to try this LED replacement tube instead.It's great! The 5000K temperature is perfect. I can finally see what colors my clothes are and the entire closet is well-lit, which it never was before. It installed easily and perfectly and we have not had any problems with it whatsoever. I don't know how long it will last, but it was worth every penny, in my opinion. I am glad to be able to get away from fluorescents whenever possible, so am glad I found this replacement solution.

These lights were more than easy to install. They worked well without bypassing the ballast and light up our laundry room much better than the old fluorescents.

This light, unlike others I've tried, worked right out of the box. I would have given it 5 stars but for the directionality of the light beam that is cast. The light doesn't emit all the way around the tube, and my stove hood's fixture is oriented such that light beam (area of highest intensity) will either point outwards towards a very close part of the hood that blocks most of the light beam, or it points towards the stove back which does illuminate the rear burners and stove controls very nicely, but not as much for the front burners. Since the intensity is much better than the original 20" fluorescent tube, we are happy. The construction of this type of light must require this directionality, and it's just my luck my fixture is 90º off! Good light, tho!

I needed to replace an aged fluorescent tube and ordered this one based on reviews and the need for a full spectrum tube to help grow the plants in a kitchen window.This light is BRIGHT, I mean really bright compared to other tubes we have had over the years.Being FULL SPECTRUM helped my window box (both inside and out) plants to grow beyond our past experiences with these types of lights.I have plans to buy a couple more of these bright lights.≠ REBELWIL

The only thing I can figure (as to why some people are saying it doesn't fit) is that they didn't read the instructions, which explains that the pins have a protective plastic cover that you need to pull off. Once you do that, these go on to any standard 2-ft-length fluorescent light fixture just as easily and accurately as with a florescent light, except it will now be LED.and, no, I did not have to remove the ballast from the fixture or do any wiring changes. This light works exactly as it promises: functioning fine in your existing fluorescent light fixture of the same size.For better or worse, the light "temperature" is pretty much identical to its equivalent in fluorescent lighting. I wish it was a tad warmer, but they advertise it as 5000 K light temperature, and that's exactly what it looks like — daylight color.

So glad i bought this. My light was dimming and flickering. Tried another fluorescent but still same problem, so knew it was a ballast. I bought this light, did the modification by eliminating the ballast and works perfect. And the light looks so much better than the flourescent. Color is a nice white, like sunshine. Its not yellow or dingey like some fluorescent. Fish seem happier too.

Installs in seconds, very bright !

This LED bulb is great, very bright.I had to learn the hard way that the first digits of a Flourescent fixture don't really describe the length of the bulb. I ordered a F18 size tube in LED and got a 20" long. to get a 24" I had to look for a F18 that was 24" long.
