Great bundle - old but necessary
I bought an older e-drum module that uses compact flash and grabbed this to backup / move kit data. Worked like a charm to backup the settings and could then reset it and load new kits secure that I had the original setup.Great value and super helpful to have access to older tech that still has years of use left in it.

Does the job
It reads CompactFlash cards, is immediately recognized in Windows, and works with no issues. The plastic feels a bit cheap, but it does the job.

DO NOT BUY. Consistently corrupts CF card.
***DO NOT BUY***Corrupts my CF card almost every time I use it.Took me far too long to figure this out, too. I thought it was an issue with my camera (5DMKII and 5DMKIV), but switched cameras and corruption persisted. Then assumed it was a PC issue, but multiple computers presented same issue: unformatted card. It wasn't until I noticed my old CF reader next to this one that it dawned on me--this reader is corrupting my CF card.I mean sure, if you take pictures and don't care about them, buy this thing, but if you like losing all your pictures, go right ahead. Otherwise, buy a quality one instead of this thing.
