Used this for RV worked great and was the best value

We used this so we could stay in an RV overwinter without moving it. First one we got leaked, but the replacement works like a charm. Test gas connections by putting a little dish soap and water into a spray bottle and spritzing all connections. If propane is leaking out, it will create bubbles.

This kit is great for feeding your RV gas supply and grill with your 20 lb propane tank if you boondock or stay in one place for a while you can use this it's much easier than moving your RV to fill your tank

Exactly what I needed. The local propane provider took this and made all the necessary connections to hook my RV to a 150 gal tank. I can easily add my grill to this same valve. Definitely will make full timing it easier, especially for winter

Stay away from this product! The brass was brittle and easily broke when slightly tightened. I don’t know where they got the hoses but they are cheap and will not relax and unwind but stay looped and twisted around themselves.The 1/4 inch flare fitting on the hose, connecting to the unit from the auxiliary tank, leaked at the flare connection and then the brittle brass broke when tightened enough to stop the leak. Yes it was threaded on by hand and not cross threaded. I have now bought another supplier’s unit and I’m hoping for a better experience with the quality. This new one I ordered from another company doesn’t have o-rings on the male POL but uses a hard nose flare fitting. The brass seems to be of better quality and not that cheap goldy colored junk brass like this Stanbroil one had.Now to be fair, I did not ask for a refund as I am sure this is the best they could get from the overseas (need I say China?) company that seems to be supplying most of these to various vendors. They most likely would have stood behind their product so I have no beef there. My choice.However I would ask Stanbroil to start sourcing from an American or European manufacturer having better quality brass metal. Your target customer can afford an RV. They therefore can afford a higher priced, top quality part that won’t break. This one however is crap!

Used it recently when my main tank ran out. Just a note - you cannot disconnect it from the main tank and still use the back up. It will leak down. You must shut it all down and attach it to a new tank to continue to use while filling your original tank. Nice to have the long hose to the barbque!

Very easy to fit and well made just a pity they don't come with a longer pipe for the bottle

I purchased this to add an external tank to my in-laws RV as they're currently living in it due to losing their house to a forest fire in BC this year 2021, Unfortunately due to shortages there's no large propane tanks available through any of the companies such as Superior propane until the end of January possibly later, thanks to this product I was able to pick up two 100 lb propane tanks and they'll be just fine this winter. Installation took me all of 10 minutes, I used soapy water to check for leaks, no leaks and works fantastic.
