Fade when about a year old - but usually theft prompts the purchase of new caps anyway.
These caps are well made and have a great finish. Their color variety is wonderful. The color does significantly fade in about a year of being parked in direct sunlight. The textured surface makes their installation and tightening a breeze. The rubber seals keep the dirt and dust away from your valve stems. And I really really appreciate that there is 5 in a pack, not just 4! That extra cap is useful when I lose one, or when one of the community's juvenile delinquents abscound with one of the street side caps. Buy these with confidence. Just know that if you chose to use pliers to try to make them theft resistant, they scratch easily.

Long lasting color
Just a little spark of color, bought orange for a new Ford Maverick that is cactus green and has orange accents in interior. Also got red color for a charcoal Escape over 3 years ago, they still look great.

they seized on the step and required the stem to be removed. Total waste.

Look good ... initially
The valve stem caps look good initially but now the color has started to fade. It's a little disappointing. You get what you pay for I guess.
