**Q: How thick is it?**
A: It's about 2 inches ,but you have to consider where the battery goes. I love this clock ! And it keeps perfect time. Maybe not that thick .What ever the case, I'm very satisfied.

A: no, there is no place to hang a pendulum

**Q: There isn't a glass lens on the face? In the pictures, there appears not to be any?**
A: It’s a plastic lens- not glass. It’s very lightweight but that’s nice for hanging and it looks more expensive on the wall than it is. I like this clock a lot for the price.

Very nice design and fits well in my space; but it does not keep accurate time. Keeps stopping. Batteries are full charge, so it's the mechanical parts not working correctly. I have to correct my previous review! I read up on quartz clocks, and they have to be mounted flat on the wall. My mounting is not flat so I added felt chair leg pads to the back until the clock was straight up and down. It now works perfectly.
