These are the best cobalt drill bits at this price point that I've ever come across. They drill through even chromed steel and stainless with zero hesitation. Of course, drill bits do lose their bite and wear down but these have been going strong for me with regular use for about 6 months now.

it cut right thru without any but minor resistance in the metal. like these drills very much.

I tried using Ryobi bits for metal and all of those snapped despite keeping them cool with fluid and not applying much pressure trying to get through a steel crash bar ( which is designed to crumple ).I also tried self-tapping screws meant for metal, and other drill-bits. They didn't work but this product did. I did have to use the smaller size and then go up in size to where I needed to be, but they got the job done. Hopefully I won't have to buy again because of the price. Hopefully they'll last me for many years.

Good quality and effectively drills through metal!Used on ~1/8 galvanized and did oil as drilling but cut right through effectively.

I ordered these drillbits because they were supposed to be good. I was drilling out a bolt from an aluminum head and needed it to be a straight in drill hole. These bits skipped across the bolt and wouldn’t begin to drill. Went to the hardware store and bought some three dollar Irwin Drill bits and the job is complete. These bits are junk.

I bought these to drill a few holes in a tight place through aluminum. The size is great, but they absolutely are not sharp at all.
