If I buy this product in the 1 gallon and use it in a 1 gallon pump sprayer what do I dilute it to?

Great question, Read the label on the product itself. Are your wheels coated/protected w/ a ceramic coating? The Rag Company has an awesome video explaining the dilution ratios that can be used for the P & S BrakeBuster.

Is it safe to use on powder coated wheels?

Yes this product is safe for powder coated wheels. Do no spray directly on wheels that are hot. I usually rinse my wheels first to knock down as much of the dirt and break dust as I can. Next I spray a liberal amount of break buster, you can use it straight or cut it with water 60/40 to make it last longer. Let sit for a minute, agitate it with a wheel brush and then rinse. Should be good to go!

Did anyone ever receive the towel that was supposed to be included? I've written twice, but no joy.

It's a different package. You get the spray bottle and the towel for $17.95. Here's how that package is listed: "P&S Professional Detail Products - Brake Buster Wheel Cleaner with One Black Edgeless 245 Microfiber Towel by The Rag Company - Non Acid, Removes Brake Dust, Oil, Dirt, Light Corrosion (1 Pint)." If you bought the spray bottle alone, that's all you get. You have to get the package of bottle + microfiber towels in order to get the towel. It costs $4 more.

is it safe on red brake calipers?

Yes. We have used it on a 2021 Corvette with red brake calipers. It works great.

I changed from Built Hamber to this and it’s nowhere near as good. Does not remove all residue no matter how long you leave it or how you use it

Ready to use. Pour into a spray bottle and get at it! Previously just used the same soap that was used for the car and it was always a major effort and got mediocre results. Tried this brand it was a lot easier with much better results. Spray, let it sit for a minute or 2, then brush with a detailing brush - which I also got on Amazon. For the inside of the wheel, I use a brush attachment for my drill and it was so much easier. This stuff really loosens the caked on brake dust and whatever else makes the brake dust stick to the wheels. Pictures shows my 2 front wheels before and after - both inside and outside. This stuff won't work miracles, but it will get your wheels pretty clean. I'm very satisfied with the results.
