La semelle de mon fer était rendue très sale après un essai de recoller à la vapeur un placage de bois déformé et j'ai utilisé ce bâton pour nettoyer la semelle du fer. En un seul passage, mon fer a récupéré une semelle toute propre. Effectivement, l'odeur est forte et il vaudrait mieux employer le bâton de nettoyage avec les fenêtres ouvertes, mais c'est très, très efficace !

I was initially skeptical about this product but needed to try something when my iron left a mark on my shirt. This is a tube (similar to lip balm) that you slide across your heated iron, wait a bit, and wipe off with a cloth. I have included a before and after picture; the before picture has a gray background and the after picture has a white door in the background on the left. I was amazed at how much gunk was removed after one use! I heated the iron up to Wool, applied the cleaner (I could tell it was dissolving the gunk while I was applying the cleaner), waited a couple of minutes, and removed the cleaner/dirt with a washcloth. There was an odor so I had to turn aside while the cleaner was working. My iron has a jetting function so I used that when I ran the iron over the washcloth after cleaning, just to make sure everything was removed after cleaning. I am pleased with the outcome.

Stift kennt man schon von früher und wir haben extra danach gesucht: Er funktioniert einwandfrei! :)Nur die Geruchsbildung ist enorm: Am besten nicht an warmen Tagen, wo kein Lüftchen geht. Ansonsten: Fenster auf - am besten Durchzug!Der Geruch bringt einen nicht um, aber ggf. Kopfschmerzen und für Haustiere ist es nicht das Allerbeste.

This is a super easy product to just wipe onto your iron and clean it.No mess and does and excellent job.
