I purchased the 16” size.First the good. It is vey easy to set up and it is fairly sturdy. The set of vinyl sheets are very nice and durable. They do have a bend in them so I used my hair dryer to heat them up a bit and they flattened out and worked better.The lights are bright enough for shooting my jewelry and the extra reflective inserts worked well to soften the harsh reflections.This is much better than my homemade set up and takes up little room.The not so good.At first one set of lights didn’t work. I pushed on the connections and got it to work. I just hope it lasts. Also the controls are clearly mis wired. When I plug them in and turn the lights on, the lights on the control turn off. When the lights are off the controls light up. So when you are working in a dark room and need to dim the lights or use the control for any reason it is almost impossible to see. Not a deal breaker but it is annoying. As someone else had mentioned, you do need a USB outlet. Thankfully I had a couple extras lying around.Overall a good value.

There are a lot of things I like about this product. So far, it sets up easily and generally works great. I haven’t used a light box before and the quality of the product pics are much improved with the lighting this provides. My review pics include a picture I took of an apple with an iPhone. I made no adjustments to the camera other than to take a square picture. It is hard to take a photo with too much shadow under the object, which is exactly what I want.I chose this product over others because it needs to fit on a counter under a shelf 15” high. This is 16” wide x 12” high. It is a nice size for where I need it. It also has a front so I can leave it set up, but close the front to keep dust out.I’m disappointed the backgrounds came folded. I like all the backgrounds. They are matte and not shiny. I can wipe dirt off them. HOWEVER, I may have damaged 1 sheet by trying to get it to lay flatter. I gently bent backgrounds the opposite way and let them sit for awhile. But they turned into a W instead of a U. I tried bending the opposite way with my hands and working out the bend. I did not work well. I thought it might not matter because when you put it in the box, it needs to curve up the back. But I can see extra shine on the printed backgrounds. Especially on the ones that have a different print on 2 sides (wood grain & marble).I then tried running hot tap water over the marble sheet hoping that would help it relax. It didn’t. But water went between layers and now they are peeling.I may try laying a heating pad on them with something laying on top to see if that helps the others flatten. I will let the marble one dry. I may need to glue it or replace it.

This light box is an excellent value for the price! It comes with everything you need to take professional quality images of small- to medium-sized objects. You get backdrops, reflective panels, the box with lights/dimmer attached, a USB charger, and a travel bag. It was very easy to set up (there are instructions, but it's pretty self-explanatory) and everything easily fits into the bag making it transportable.I did some experimenting with different objects, options, and angles. I used 2 objects of differing size and composition - a 3d printed version of a light saber hilt, and a mug my son made when he was an elementary school student. The photos that had the best quality (as the ones I attached here) are using the front photo window with the front door closed and the diffuser attached. The more light reflection, the better the photo.It's a great value for the price, and the photos are excellent. I would definitely recommend!
