I've been looking EVERYWHERE for a firm enough roller with NODULES and they're either flat, too soft, or the nodules don't stick out enough to make any type of impact. I have some BAD muscle knots and I need DEEP penetration and this roller is perfect. It's got me gritting my teeth in happy pain whenever I use this thing. Great for those with chronic back pain due to poor posture and tight back muscles and can't afford a heavy handed masseuse every week. Great for rolling other parts of your body like legs on leg day too if you don't want too much lactic acid build up after a heavy work out.

It kills your muscle and that's why I love this. I really have a pain on my thigh(Fibromyalgia) so I always want to kill them. And this foam helps me a lot. It definitely makes some bruises due to the perfect extra firm; but I love it as it is releasing my stupid muscles. Love this and using everyday. Thank you so much for selling this.

This is excellent. It gives you deep tissue massage. It may be too deep for some people, both my husband and I love it.

I’ve been dealing with persistent leg numbness, and this has made a noticeable difference. Because it’s the extra firm version, it’s definitely not gentle—it can be downright painful at first. But if you’ve got chronic tightness or pain that regular foam rollers just bounce off of, this one really gets in there. It gives incredibly deep pressure, almost like a massage therapist’s elbow digging right into the trouble spots. For anyone like me with ongoing pain or tension that never seems to fully release, this is absolutely worth using. It’s not comfortable, but the results speak for themselves.

Not for the faint of heart! If you can push through the significant discomfort of using it, this roller gets the job done but it's not painless.

I love my big black, extra firm Rumbleroller! A few weeks ago, my lower back began hurting so badly that I could hardly walk. That, coupled with sciatica which I developed at the same time felt crippling. I work from home on my computer and rather than sit at my desk, I had been sitting on my couch with my laptop on my coffee table, which I would guess was the culprit for my pain. I was not able to get my lower back to crack for a couple of months, which I would guess, added to the pain and made sense. It used to be easy to just twist my back with one leg to the opposite side and then, POP. Since I wasn’t able to do this, I figured my muscles were super tight and it made sense that I was in terrible pain. After spending a visit with my massage therapist, I felt a little better for a couple of hours. I was determined to do whatever I had to do to get rid of the lower back pain and the sciatica and decided to start going to my massage therapist weekly. Someone suggested a roller for the sciatica, which got me doing some research and I discovered the Rumbleroller. It made perfect sense. I immediately ordered the black Rumbleroller for myself and the blue one for my husband as he suffers from back pain, but his is chronic. The day I received my Rumbleroller I got right to work rolling and massaging my muscles and the sciatic nerve. Within a few hours, I was black and blue. Later that night, I worked with the Rumbleroller some more and then for the next week I rolled on it several times a day regardless of pain level. When I hit trigger spots, I rolled harder and longer until the pain changed from shooting to localized which meant that toxins had been released and the muscle had loosened. My lower back is now pain free and my sciatica is 85% improved. This is a very worthwhile apparatus and very cheap when you consider a massage will run approximately $70 for one hour which you might do once a week. With the Rumbleroller, you can get just a good a massage as many times per day as you like and get relief much, much quicker.

Definitely firm and holds its shape! Can be almost painful but if you need to release your back this one always gives me a pop or two just rolling in it. Nice and wide too.

After trying a cheaper roller which looks the same but wasn’t effective, I decided to bite the bullet & buy the Rumble Roller which is pricey. Wow! This roller really works to get to the painful knots. The bumps are truly firm so that they press into fascia & deep tissues. I find it easier to use than a massage ball which needs more balance to get right. This roller has been worth every penny.

The best foam roller I've ever had. Every other foam roller with a hallow center always snaps within the first couple of uses. Since this one has a solid center, it won't break. It digs deep for foam rolling. Probably not best for beginners because of the firmness, but good for experienced athletes with tight or sore muscles.

I've been using this product for a few years now and it is amazing. I'm about a 100KG so, this get a bit of punishment and its still going strong. I love it.
