Sort of like a Fitbit, but not as costly
I had a Fitbit Versa 2 and it finally died after a year's worth of daily use... so I went looking for a cheaper alternative. This FITVII (FIT 7) is a nice watch. The 1st charge has lasted me a week and a half and still has a day or two left before it needs to go back on the charger. The charger for this watch is incredibly easy to use. There are 2 magnets on the back of the watch and the charging cable can only be attached in one direction. It's literally fool-proof! It takes a couple hours to charge... which is way faster than my last watch. While not a mainstream brand, FITVII has done a really nice job with the watch's interface and the cell phone application. My Android app launches quickly, communicates sparingly with the watch and allows me to set everything on the watch on my cell phone. Accuracy is the only spot I would ding this watch; heart rate and blood pressure do not match medical devices (think: blood pressure arm cuff) and the pace distance cannot be adjusted for your stride like Fitbit. I find my steps are a bit low at the end of the day, but it does track my movement. So, just adjusted my goal from 10,000 steps down to 8,000 and call it good. ๐ (Fitbit wouldn't even allow that!) The swiping actions are consistent and rarely missed (except when the watch face is wet). The interface is colorful and clear. There are plenty of watch faces to customize with, and everything is readily configurable in the cell phone app. Sleep tracking is right on for timeframes and duration. The alarm buzzes just hard enough on my wrist to wake me each morning without a jolt. The weather app on the watch is decent and tracks with current conditions. messaging and phone calls happen within milliseconds between my phone and watch. I get a buzzing notification for new messages and incoming phone calls. I can even deny the call from my watch without searching for my phone during working hours. There are so many features in the watch that I haven't even used them all... and possibly never will! Just go buy one and pocket the extra hundred bucks you would have paid for a different smart watch.

Stylish and accurate
It took a bit to get the watch set up. After connecting it to the phone via Bluetooth, It's mostly about looking through the app and customizing the features. The app is highly configurable, and in particular offers many watch faces. The screen is bright enough to see on a sunny day. Step counter accuracy is in line with the pedometer on the phone. Blood pressure readings are consistent, if a little low, compared to my portable blood pressure monitor. Battery life is very good - I can easily go a week between charges. The "raise to wake" feature, which turns on the watch face, works if I'm careful to move my arm in just the right way, but it's easier to push the button on the watch to turn it on. I like that it has a regular watch band that is easily replaced if it wears out, or if you want a different style, etc. Over all, I'm happy with the FITVII and recommend it to anyone wanting a smartwatch at an affordable price.

Great watch at an affordable price!
Good watch, easy to setup. It has survived my pool swimming very well I like the O2, BP and steps counting. Support is very responsive. Great value.

Easy to read but not the least bit accurate
I ordered this watch for my husband as his regular Fitbit (Charge 4) is difficult to read outside (i.e. the golf course). We used it for almost a month and these were our findings: Pros- *Loved the look of the watch - color display and very easy to read, even outside. Changeable watch faces via the app. *Price was amazing - 1/3 of the cost of the Fitbit Charge 4. *Band was superior to the Charge 4 with actual spring loaded pins rather that a flimsy clip connection. *Charging cord- has magnetic pins and is very easy to use. Cons- We consistently found the FITVII step counter reading low so we calibrated it against his Fitbit Charge 4 by wearing both trackers on the same day. Our findings were disappointing. The longer the timeframe the more the discrepancy was between the two trackers. During a round of 9 holes of golf, the FitVII was off by over 2000 steps. I immediately contacted customer support (via email) and their response was that there had been complaints about the accuracy of their products and they were working to improve them.. In particular, here is an excerpt from their reply: "I would also like to inform you that the product calculates the steps based on the hand waving and distance, so if you are walking, it records the steps according to how long you have been walking and your hand waving. If you walk without waving your hands, the device may not record any steps." What??? So the GPS connection is only activated with hand motion, and since most of us walk with some hand movement, it needs "excessive" hand movement. *Heartrate monitoring - The readout that displays on the tracker is just the readout of the last time you activated the heartrate feature. You must select it, then wait 30-45 seconds for it to monitor your heartrate for a reading. Our regular Fitbit monitors heartrate constantly so this feature on the FITVII is quite inferior. *Blood Pressure- We found this to be all over the place. I read a review by a Doctor, and he was so alarmed by the inaccuracy of this feature, that he would not recommend it. *We didn't monitor other features such as Sleep Tracking (but read reviews that it is also highly inaccurate). In summary, it is going back. Initially it looked promising, but you get what you pay for.

You need the app to use all the features.
I have been using this watch for a while now here are some things to note before buying it. 1. You need to download the app and bluetooth it to your watch however you do not need an account you can skip it if you don't want to make one which is nice. 2. The step tracker, and hear rate is off by a lot but that to be expected. 3. The weather app only works if you have the app open and connected at all times just having it connected to your phone with bluetooth is not enough. 4. You cant text off the watch it only shows messages you received when you have the app connected something you have to do every time you are away from the watch. 5. Sleep tracker is pretty good but hard to test unless someone checks it while you sleep. Summary: Its a nice watch for someone who wants to keep an eye on their heath the big issue is you have to use the app and set it up to use all the features and keep it connected all the time for it to work, you can also use custom appearance for the wallpaper that also changes the layout of the watch but you need to do it through the watch app but once you apply the wallpaper you want it will stay even if you lose connection to the phone. I got the watch when it was about half off and believe it was worth it at that price but not for full price 3/5 stars.

Good "budget" "smart watch"
I primarily use this to track steps at work. Blood pressure is never accurate on the several smart watches I've had. Battery life is incredible! Can usually go a week or more without charging it. When I do charge it, it charges fast. This is a very BASIC smart watch. You can read texts, play/change tracks, see steps/pulse, etc. It vibrates but does not have a speaker (makes no sound, can't take calls, etc). It does have a function to help you find your phone. I seem to get similar readings to the other couple cheapo smart watches I've had. I am using this on a iPhone 12 Pro MAX. The "cons" are: App must be open for watch to communicate with phone, but if it isn't open - and you open it later the watch does seem to sync your steps. The steps are never the same as Apple Health, but I often don't have my phone on me at work. Another con is the weather is never accurate. Usually says its 68 degrees out (and I'm in Wisconsin and its February)... For $44.99 the cons are perfectly acceptable. No sound and you can't do phone calls, but its a $45 smart watch... I work in a shop environment and the has held up well. Its face has been smacked on metal, scrapped over things, etc...and it is still free of damage. I recommend this watch.

FITVII H56 Seems limits Blood Pressure Readings to 144/82 high and 102/63 low!
I initially liked this device. Good price and seems to measure pulse and steps pretty well. However, either I received a defective blood pressure sensor in my watch or the model has operating limits of 144/82 for high BP and 102/63 for low BP. I took 100s of auto readings over 30 days (often feeling I was fine since readings were incorrectly low) and dozens of checks before I plotted the readings to compare to my Omron BP Monitor readings and realized the watch reports were very out of whack. I was initially not sure which was correct. The watch was incorrect after comparing to ressults from 2 BP machines and Dr BP readings! Beware - your readings could actually be much higher or lower than this watch is reporting! Half of my results over a month of use were at the max 144 or min 82/63 and useless. It is easy to reach 144 if exercising or having heart afib so was not accurate or useful to use. I realize this is not a medical device, but very incorrect BP results cause dangerous feeling of safety. The watch was as much as 30 points low and 10 points high versus actual BP. Received refund after contacts with Manufacturer. Amazon refused to refund or replace since slightly over their arbitrary limit for support. Never had heard of only a 30 day warranty before - very disappointed in Amazon policy as well. Sleep tracking is also off - does not detect naps in afternoon, or if you get up for an hour in night. Oxygen sensor was never the same as professional - often off 5% and risky to count on if you are low (below 90%). Music and Weather functions never did work. No idea where it was getting temps from. Update: The manufacturer did approve a full refund via Amazon after several messages back and forth which was appreciated. I still believe that the BP capabilities are not dependable and have upper and lower limits that make the BP readings useless except as a general higher or lower test. Watch is useful for tracking pulse or steps perhaps - but need to use a full BP monitor that tracks BP and pulse more accurately, and steps better counted by my phone. The watch runs dead after about a week of use and readings on final day were far off for steps and nighttime sleep (never tracked daytime naps).

It works!
I bought it because it was well rated as an economically priced fitness watch. The watch works as expected. Customer support was very helpful, I exceedingly polite, and actually replaced the first one I had because it was defective (cardio features didn't work). The replacement works well and has an amazing long lasting battery. I'm very pleased, overall. The watch does lack comprehensive, detailed instructions and that was a bit of a barrier to me getting it to work at first, but I eventually figured it out with some trial and error. Overall I am very pleased with it.
