The Wheel of the Year: An Illustrated Guide to Nature's Rhythms [Cook, Fiona, Roux, Jessica] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. The Wheel of the Year: An Illustrated Guide to Nature's Rhythms Review: Beautiful Book Great Illustrations, Wonderful Book for Both Children (and Adults too)! - Such a well written, beautifully illustrated book. Somehow I missed this book was for children; so this is quite a great resource for children with arts & crafts for each season within the year. I absolutely love the details of history, along with suggestions of how to make it relatable to current day for kids-preteens. I even found some information useful! Review: Must have book for children and adults following the wheel of the year. - This book is lovely. Not only for children, but I love this as an adult. It has a balance of history, teaching, and activities. Itโs illustrations as soft and whimsical. It is easy to read and navigate. It addresses how to participate in practices respectfully and to be mindful of cultural appropriation. Iโve included a few pages from each of the 8 sabbats.

Beautiful, useful, thoughtfully written
This is a truly gorgeous book with excellent content. Itโs a fun and accessible way to introduce our practice to our kids, but honestly itโs great for all ages. Full of wonderful activities and trivia to really celebrate and get in to the spirit of the season. There are some old favorites, as well as some things that I can see becoming family traditions for us. Canโt recommend this book enough!

Very impressed with this book
i am 31 years old and have been interested in/practicing forms of paganism and witchcraft for my whole adult life. my practices are very personal, iโm not outspoken about being a witch or anything, but i have put in quite a bit of time to researching and learning and practicing, sometimes for the fun of it and sometimes in a serious attempt to understand my life and the world around me. iโm trying to convey that i know more about this subject than maybe your average person would. now despite this book being clearly geared towards a younger audience, i found it so enlightening and enjoyable. i ordered it expecting it to be corny and too childish for me, and if that was the case i was going to give it to my niece, but after reading through it iโve decided to keep it for myself and also order another one for my niece and her mother. this book has a lot of great information in it, the authors are clearly very educated on the subjects they write about, and this is now my favorite resource i own for seasonal practices and crafts. if you enjoy pagan practices, celebrating natures cycles, or even if you just like learning about the history of cultural practices around the world, buy this book!! you wonโt be sorry. i especially appreciate the cultural note on white sage, and the artwork throughout.

Lovely book with a nice variety of information
Lovely book. It's definitely geared toward a youth reader, but it's beautifully written and illustrated. Great for a newbie witch or anyone just starting to learn about the seasons of the year.

My daughter and I, we fell in love with this beautifully written, practical book. Lots of amazing illustrations. You won't regret buying this book, you will love it and will read more than once as a reference book for your rituals and ceremonies as family, just to cherish the way we are connected to Mother Nature.

This book is an absolute gem about the natural seasons, with beautiful history and inspirations for crafts and rituals for young and old. I dont agree at all that this book is for 8-12. This book is probably best for adults as a guide, but for all ages. Every time I bring it somewhere or share a page with someone, people are fascinated by this beautiful book
