## Description

FabriCoat is specialist fabric paint used to change or restore the colour of any item of fabric. This all-in-one fabric paint is extremely easy to use; just apply to the fabric with a brush or sponge and it will instantly soak in and dye the fabric. Available in range of 28 fabric paint colours, it can be used on sofas, upholstery, car seats, footwear, clothing, handbags and all other items made from fabric. The colours are strong and vibrant and will not fade or rub off after they have dried. Once applied, the fabric paint remains soft and flexible, providing a long-lasting finish that can be enjoyed for years. It soaks into all absorbent materials and once dry, will not make the material go hard or stiff. The fabric paints can be mixed to match any colour of fabric and either used to restore fabric or paint custom designs onto the fabric. If you’re using the fabric paint to change the colour of fabric, make sure the fabric is a lighter colour than the paint you decide to use. FabriCoat fabric paint can also be sprayed with an Airbrush onto the fabric. Using it as a fabric spray paint allows you to be creative with its application, which is ideal for creating a custom look. If your fabric has a pile, such as velvet, faux-suede, chenille, draylon or microfibre, we recommend ordering double the quantities of fabric paint. This is because there is a lot more surface area to cover on these types of fabric. We would also recommend that you brush the fabric (with our Cleaning Brush) at regular intervals during the drying period to ensure that the fabric does not go stiff.

Review: It is very good product. - I have folowed intructions how to use. It came up very good. I had jacket that outer layer fall apart. I had clean it and use this paint and it worked perfectly. I got wet in the rain, paint stand as new. I highly recomend it. P.S. color of fabric that I painted on, was light green. Now it is nice black. First picture show how it was before. Second how it looks after painting.

**Q: Can you advise, how many I would need to cover a small ottoman?**
A: Depending on the original color. I used a whole bottle to touch up some sun bleaching on a black sofa and still is a little noticeable

**Q: Can this be used on a lampshade? Will the warmth of a bulb affect the paint?**
A: I don't think the heat will affect the paint.  I put it on car upholstery that gets a whole lot hotter than a lamp shade.  Worked great by the way.

**Q: do you have to rewet or spray with water again before the 2nd coat?**
A: I would highly recommend spraying with water before each layer. It keeps the fabric softer and makes it look more dyed than ‘painted’

**Q: I used this on a chair and it made the fabric hard and stiff. How can I make it soft again?**
A: You can’t! You have to wet the fabric when you first apply the dye. That’s what makes it stay soft. Once it’s dried it can’t be softened. The more water you spray on the fabric when applying the dye the softer the fabric stays
