Butyric Acid 2:1 Ratio 90 caps

I am writing this review from heart. I dont like to kiss butts of manufacturers, but I have noticed that (so far) Ecological formulas makes very affordable products and maybe the highest quality. I hope I continue to be right. Now I will confess I have not used another butryic acid product, this was my first, and I am very pleased with using it. I am very meticulous in research and I read "labels" deeply. When I read this label, what I observe is, NO OTHER product has this concentrated butyric acid with so few "extra" things. To me, the manufacturer has (I hope I am right) put some devotion in making as pure a butyric acid while still being clinically effective. I see other products with boatful of Cal, Mag, Na stuffed in it, which I dont like. I can take seperate supplement if I need them. Also I feel good on using it. I have had gut dysbiosis and over last one year I have made considerable progress and I will not stay without BA. Lastly I hope a) Amazon continues to stock it, b) the Manufacturer continues to make affordable products with highest quality.

If you have leaky gut issues, you most likely Don’t have enough Buteric acid and your intestines. I did a lot of research, I’m not a doctor. But doctors weren’t healing me just giving me Band-Aid prescriptions to help alleviate the pain. I started this product after much research and within two weeks, my stabbing stomach pain that was going on for two years stopped. 30 days later I was having healthy BM’s (sorry, but true). I suggest adding fiber “Metamucil” A couple times a day with it and glutamine at night. As well as a good probiotic. 60 days later, I haven’t had any stomach issues and still “regular”. The Key to cure leaky gut issues is to make sure that you’re having bowel movements every day. If you can only get your sugars in your veggies for the first 30 days (no maple or honey either), it’s a great kick off to getting your gut back to normal. Sidenote two, I don’t have sinus allergies anymore due to a bay fever. Getting your gut fixed, fixes so much more. Good luck and I support this supplement.

How can you really tell whether you like a product like this especially since I have only been taking it for a week. Product was in good condition all of the pills are in good condition. They are capsulated and none of the capsules were broken.

This butyric acid by Ecological Formulas appears to have a great formulation. I learned that Butyric acid, also known as butter acid or valeric acid, is a chemical that has an odor smell of vomit. I was afraid that my tablets were rancid but was happy to learn they are supposed to smell like puke. Butyric acid, to me at least, smells very similar to Valerian root. They both really do stink.When you take a butyric acid capsule out of the bottle, the smell even lingers on your hand. So, you probably do not want to put a couple of them in your pocket to take at lunch time. (Unless you want the people you work with to give you a wide berth.)According to PubMed, this noxious smell is quite normal for butyric acid.From PubMed website: "(PMID: 16460475) Butyric acid is a carboxylic acid found in rancid butter, Parmesan cheese, and vomit, and has an unpleasant odor and acrid taste, with a sweetish aftertaste (similar to ether)." Well, that sure explains a lot.

I can't read the bottle because someone put a sticker over it, Grrr annoying...I will review my STAR score, after I use the pills for a bit. I read a review that said HELPS WITH CONSTIPATION, so I will let you know my review on that subject, but I need to use the pills first

I’m going to add my voice to the others, that they need to NOT put the label over the information! Sure, I can look up the photos on here, but I shouldn’t have to.Otherwise great product for a great price!

I take one of these every morning and after a week I can honestly say my bowel movements have gone from loose and constipated to predictable, smooth, solid and back to how I was before Keto. I couldn't be happier. I will definitely continue taking them. No taste, no odor and easy to swallow.

This Butyric Acid feels like it's eating a hole in my stomach. Way too strong, with nothing added to mitigate the problem. It's supposed to heal digestive problems, but instead has caused more. Upset stomach, acid reflux. I even tried 1/5 of a capsule with a heavy meal, and it still didn't set right. I do not recommend it.
