I purchased Wild Baby microwave pal for my daughter's baby shower. I myself was a little wild in the amount of things I purchased......a beautiful furry winter snow suit, a dozen books from Amazon, just to name a few. But none got the reaction like this Plush Pal. I believe this is as much for Mommy as it is for baby. Why? If you've ever walked the floor all night with a child who has an ear infection, you know what I mean. On the back of the little duck is a Velcro opening. Inside is a pouch holding natural clay beads that can be microwaved and put back in the animal to hold against the baby's ear for some soothing relief. The pouch can also be put in the freezer as well, for any little bumps that might occur. There was a Mom at the shower who brought her 10 month old and he crawled into the pile of brightly colored books and toys and went straight to the Duck. There were two pregnant ladies there as well and they both wanted to check it out. It was passed all around! I would say it was a hit! It would be nice to heat the beads and give to baby at sleep time too for warm snuggles! I started to give this only 4 stars but as I was writing this review (6 weeks after the shower) I remembered everyone's reaction to it and changed my rating to 5 stars!!

My son absolutely loves it. He's never been big on cuddling a stuffed animal at bedtime, but he sleeps with his duck every night and carries it around all day.Update: 1 year later and my son still loves his duck. It's amazing, especially when he wakes up with leg pains in the middle of the night. I pop his duck in the microwave and lay it across his legs, then he's back to sleep in no time. When he wakes up from a nightmare, he will insist I warm his duck to help him back to sleep. If he stays the night with family, he has to have his duck. I'm currently pregnant with #2 and my son just helped me pick one of these for his new baby brother (he picked the puppy). I can't recommend these enough.

What an adorable product! I have a friend who had something similar and I just had to get one for my daughter as well. The lavender pouch is super easy to remove, heat and cool. The velcro is hidden and seems strong where I do not believe it will wear down/become too loose. My daughter picked out the cute little duck herself. The fabric is so soft and good quality. It's color is bright and just as pictured! It's the perfect size to snuggle with or be an ice pack of comfort for all the dings and bumps a toddler acquires. The duck is well made and the customer service response was excellent. Instructions on the back are easy and clear to understand. I can't wait to get many more uses and cuddles with this duck! Totally would recommend this product and company to other people...in fact, I already have!

This duck is super cute and is pretty close to what is pictured. The only thing that was a little misleading was how "full" the duck looks in the picture. The bead filling doesn't fill the whole duck, so it is kind of droopy if you are propping it up like the picture shows. Functions as needed.

Crotch duck is best thing ever. He helps with cramps due to uterus tantrums very well. Lavander sent didn't last long, but that's ok he still smells nice. The duck shape is very cute, and fun. The beads sit near the butt giving him a very thin waist, big badonkadonk, and large head. His large noggin is very soft and cuddly. He does not mind if you squeeze his head due to pain, which is good. No one likes a complaining duck. Alas my one complaint; I have tried to name my cramp companion many times, but a proper name alludes me. Thus he is known as crotch duck, and I love him.

I saw other reviews about how it helps with their cramps and wanted to try it myself and I love it! If you follow the directions on how to heat it, it will get hot enough for you and stays warm for a long time! I didn’t think the scent was super strong, but strong enough for you to smell it and be relaxed or calm.

it was so poorly sewn that the arms fell off almost immediately after giving it to him. :( had to sew them back on myself because it’s my sons fave, and now it looks ridiculous
