Yes, the whole tent is all zipped up and there are covers on the windows and doors' screens.

Has anyone just put a waterproof tarp over this

I used fly sheet, otherwise it gets wet inside.

Are there loops where you can hang a lantern/light inside?

Sorry, there are no loops inside the tent specifically for hanging the lantern, but there are loops on the top of the door for fixing the door curtain, and you can hang the lights there as well. We have added loops in the middle of the tent for hanging lights in our new batch of productions. The new batch will be in stock after October.

If the tent does not have a rain fly, how well is the tent sealed from rain?

We suggest to add a rainfly tarp when use this tent in a heavy rain. The rainfly not only protects the tent from rain but also extends service life of the tent.
