Black Knife Sets, German Stainless Steel Forged Kitchen Knives Block Set with Built-in Knife Sharpener

I really thought this knife set was attractive and I was very glad to open the package when it arrived. I unpacked the very nice block and removed each item to place in my sink to wash before placing them in the block. When I got to the end of the package, I realized it was lacking the scissors. I immediately contacted the seller to advise that the scissors were not included and to please send it. I received a reply from the seller advising they could provide a refund but did not have the scissors. Now, I got the SET because it is RED and all parts of the set were COORDINATED in the same COLOR and STYLE. I said I wasn't interested in a refund - just the scissors. It has now been almost 2 months. I never heard from the seller again. I don't have the scissors. I don't have a refund. I have a specially designed knife block for the specific purpose of housing the coordinated set but am lacking the scissors. The knives themselves are sharp, utilitarian and attractive. I wish I have been sent the entire set as purchased so I could display them as they should be. Were it not for the missing scissors, I would have given this set a 5 star rating.UPDATE: Today I received a complete new set from the vendor complete with block, knives and scissors. It's perfect. I'm no chef, but I'm a good cook and good knives are essential. These knives are sharp (both the blades and in appearance). The set is more versatile than other more expensive sets are. The knives are not overly heavy or unwieldy. The scissors perfectly match the knives and every thing looks great in the block. I wouldn't hesitate to buy the set again as gifts for others. These are great quality at a very reasonable price. I've had more expensive knife sets, but none better than these.

I was very surprised at the quality of these. I have bought others and was disappointed so definitely was surprised at the weight and style. They dont feel cheap and look great. It has the sharpening function built in that makes it easy for sharpening. Definitely recommend these.

These turned out better than I expected. I like the fact that it is a whole piece and not a wooden handle. Makes it easier to clean. I did not like the block up so high…wish it would be a bit more level without having the knives so tall I have to pull from under cabinet to remove the longer knives. I like the design and these are super sharp. My husband really was impressed with its sharpness.

I’ve been in the market for a new knife set. I finally decided on this set based on the reviews and the price. I’m so glad I did. These knives will NOT disappoint. The quality of the material is much better than I expected. I am very pleased with these knives. They cut thru meat like butter. The block is so stylist and sleek. They look great on my counters.

They are not only pretty but also very effective. Usually, when have to do a lot of vegetable chopping my hands hurt a lot. But these knives cut smooth. And minimal pressure needed. I’d buy them again.

You get what you pay for with this set. The quality is good but not brilliant. The riveted handles are great & the plastic of the handles does not look or feel cheap. Read the description carefully- there are a lot of utility size knives in this set & only 2 big knives. After using larger chef knives for years I find the knives to be a little on the small side which is good for me as a woman with average hands. I used to avoid my exes (he's a chef) butcher knife like the plague because it was too big to feel comfortable. I don't like that the blades on the 2 bigs tend toward narrow which will make chopping motions a bit more work. I would have preferred an 8 inch santoku knife instead of a 5 inch- it seems to be overkill for utility size knives unless you have a particular affection for that blade shape. The inclusion of an 8 inch bread knife would almost have completed the set, I now have to buy one. There is no butcher's knife which should not matter if you do not require one. The product still got a 4 star review for value for money considering the design/ materials at this price point, & colour (it matches my red kitchen theme). Be sure to read the specifications of this set re: sizing because the set is smaller & narrower than average.

Was attracted by the pretty color, but most important was sharpness. Nice that it has a built in sharpener, haven't had to use it yet though. Cut myself twice already lol, my fault
