This is not for everybody. What it does is it makes it a lot easier to hold your Smartphone when taking photos, especially in poor light conditions. The rectangular shape of a smartphone is not ergonomically proper for holding and aiming as you would a conventional camera. It also serves as a screw mount For use with any standard tripod.

I really love this holder, I take a lot of pictures with my dslr and this makes for a very handy phone holder to grab that quick picture with the same feel as using a real camera. I would recommend this for anyone who might want a steadier feel when taking pictures using their smart phone.

Very ‘handy’ attachment for using a tripod, monopod or that (ugly word) ’selfy’ stick. I’m using an iPhone 8plus, so I appreciate the strong ‘snug’ fit.
