Our canine companion LOVES this brand of dog food. Store brands were not compatible with her digestive system and stools were inconsistent. Not the case with Hill’s products…and our pup’s coat has never been better.

great for older dogs, if you can get it! I've had it on auto ship, but maybe get it on time 1 out of 3 deliveries, not counting the times they lose it after shipping.

My three dogs love Hill's Science diet. Always fresh and I often embellish their diet with dog approved human foods.

My Pomeranian is 11 years old and she highly approves of this dog food. She is super healthy and this is the dog food. She’s eaten her whole life. Of course, I gave her healthy table scraps.

You know when your pet is sick, and it's a huge guessing game what it can be? Back in Dec ('20), my sweet 11 yo Husky got *so* sick. It crept up on him, though, gradually, over months, and then right around Christmas he stopped eating, had renal failure, needed IV fluids. He was in/out of our neighborhood vet a few times, then taken out of town to an internal medicine specialist. I spent a small fortune on an ultrasound, antibiotics, tests for Lepto, Addison's Disease, you name it. I called UC Davis to see if we could get him in there. They were all happily taking my money while throwing it at the wall like spaghetti, in an attempt at guessing why my typically counter-surfing, food-motivated dog was suddenly laying flat, barely able to lift his head, with no interest in food. I was giving him Rx appetite stimulant meds, then hand-feeding him tablespoons of boiled chicken, salmon, turkey, squash. I was advised to humanely euthanize him. We were all a mess. It was such a surprise, because he was otherwise a young, wild boy. He was on his way out, and he was going to get to walk as long as he could, and eat whatever he wanted. But, then I realized I couldn't afford to keep him alive *too* much longer on that fancy diet, so I slowly weaned him back onto his Hill's dog food diet. Then as I was going online right now to order more, it occured to me to read the low star ratings. These may be buried because there are so many reviews, but I hope someone like me clicks into the reviews and reads the 1 star reviews to learn WHY there would be a 1 star review. Suffice it to say, DO NOT EVER BUY THIS PRODUCT! Chances are, it could KILL YOUR DOG! See the manufacturer recall. And THANK YOU to those before me who reviewed it and shared their experiences. I guess I'll be spending loads of money on homemade human food for my dogs. At least then I know it won't get recalled behind my back. Jeez.

My Chihuahua Philip states he’s especially fond of the mild flavour . Easy on the stomach and easy to digest. He says being an older canine he prefers a lighter diet that doesn’t scrimp on flavour . This food checks all the boxes he said.

Vraiment déçue..la première commande les conserves étaient parfaites et la deuxième commande la texture est granuleuse et vraiment sec. Et aucun retour admissible sauf que je l’ai acheté pour un vieux chien qui a de la misère à mastiquer et là il refuse de manger car c’est sec et granuleux. Je suis vraiment vraiment indignée j’avais confiance en ce produit.

Delivered on time . Must be ok dog food for a low-fat low protein diet. She is so spoiled and will only eat what she wants but she will eat this without adding any other ingredients. So it must taste ok to dogs Definitely what my vet recommended for her diet. Good job Hill's
