Made a few cords with these mostly to power light weight stuff here and there. 1 end of a sweeper cord new 20ft cord haha. IDK if i would use these on job for 12+ amps but anything less then 10+ amp steady i havnt had any issues. Really happy i got these. If you just want a cheap fix to power some Christmas lights or something spend no more! Turn that 100ft into 4x25ft !

These are perfect for fixing cords instead of having to buy new cords. Very easy to put on the old cords and a great price.

Guess i assumed from the pic they would be better quality than they are. The plug housing is rubber like which is fine, you have to pull the yellow parts out to hold a small hard to hold while attaching the wires. Putting them back together can be a pain, to line up the screw holes again and they only screw into the rubber like housing with no liners in the screw holes. Time will tell how well they work, after a little more effort than i thought it would take i got one back together. You may wish to spend a little more and go for better quality.

You get what you pay for. I wanted these for light duty on a few cords around the house that needed new ends. That is exactly what they are. The are not heavy duty but are fine for my purpose. For the price and the product, I was satisified that I got a good deal.

Out of the 5 sets, maybe 3 of them are usable. These suffer from terrible quality control. I'm very disappointed. Now I'm left wondering if I should go to the trouble of returning them or stick it out and attempt to use the 2 or 3 that may be workable.The black covers are very badly molded, and at least 2 of them are so bad that they won't fit together with the yellow bits. The shape is wonky and there are extra bits of plastic sticking out here and there. The screw holes don't line up with the other bits very well.Most of them have at least 1 of the internal nuts to hold wires not assembled and loose inside the cover.Even if the molding were perfect, the design of these make them extremely difficult to assemble. Trying to line up the internal bits with the external bits, all while trying to keep the screws aligned is nearly impossible. Very frustrating.These plugs have zero weather-proofing or even dust intrusion. They are NOT rubber, but hard plastic that cannot flex to grip the cord for stress relief.It's strange how much of this junk is described without any understanding of the actual product. "Alloy steel", pffft - all steel is an alloy, even terrible, easily corroded stuff. But, contrary to that, these metal bits are made of copper/brass/bronze, perhaps plated over a steel base metal, as they should be.These are a waste of time and money. Skip.

These are a good replacement when needed. Not as easy to install as I had hoped. Tight connections are a little hard to get the wire into. I would still recommend this but just be ready for some slight frustration.

This is a great value for 5 sets of connectors (male and female. This is the classic style requiring only a screw driver to hook up the wires.
