Game-Changer for Hair Care!
I've been using the Aquis Original Microfiber Hair Turban in black since 2018, and I can't imagine my hair care routine without it! This product is a total game-changer, especially if you're someone like me who wants to minimize heat damage and reduce drying time. The microfiber material is super absorbent, cutting my blow-dry time in half. It’s also incredibly gentle on my hair—no more frizz or breakage from harsh towel rubbing. The design is well thought-out: it stays secure without slipping off, thanks to the handy button loop, and it's lightweight enough to wear comfortably while I get ready.Even after years of regular use and washes, the turban has held up wonderfully. The black color still looks sleek, and the fabric hasn’t lost its absorbency. It's honestly one of the best investments I’ve made for my hair care routine. If you want a practical, durable, and effective product for healthier hair, I highly recommend the Aquis Hair Turban. It’s well worth it!

Amazing for long thick hair!
Love this thing! I have really long thick hair that soaks up water like a sponge. I had a microfiber one of these from another brand at Ulta. My hair eventually grew too long and thick and I could barely get it up on my head then the elastic piece that goes around the button stretched beyond wearing and I scraped it for floor washcloths. This thing is my new investment. I have butt length hair very thick and it takes it all! I sleep in it with masks on and it stays on ALL NIGHT through tossing and turning. It’s light weight and doesn’t add a lot of weight to my head which can be hard on my neck as it is. It is made so well. Every stitch, the fabric is soft and wonderful. The rubber like bag it came in is great for traveling with it tooo. It does not dry my hair completely even overnight however I didn’t expect it to because of the thickness and length of my hair. It does dry a lot more than previous ones I’ve owned and stays on so well without pulling my hair which I’m really concerned about since my hair is bleached, I like that it is gentle but firm in place. It’s really absorbent but also dries fast and is light weight. It doesn’t stay soaking wet all night and make you cold if you sleep in it.

BEST Hair Turban! Worth the price!
HANDS DOWN the BEST hair turban for wet hair. I have been using hair turbans for over a decade (originally started using the “Turbie Twist”, and over the years using different branded hair turbans). I first bought this item a few years ago at Bed, Bath, & Beyond and I had it for several years (still have it actually). I bought one on Amazon for my mom and realized it had been updated since I got my first one @ BB&B. I ordered a new one for myself and it is WORTH THE PRICE! This item has the BEST absorption and durable elasticity. Pretty much EVERY OTHER hair drying turban style product has not been as great as this item. The Turbie Twist specifically doesn’t absorb or stay on very well. This turban lasts FOREVER and is extremely durable. Ladies, look no further at other hair turbans.

Works great, seems slightly pricey for what it is though
I have very long hair, which goes down below my lower back and I can still tuck it in the bottom of this and pull it up slightly, and when I then twist and snap the bottom into place it still holds all my hair and helps dry. I think for my amount of hair a 2nd one would be best to truly dry my hair in a shorter amount of time, but one works fine overnight.I did put 4 stars because I see this same product in stores like Walmart, Target, TjMaxx for half the price or sometimes for 2 in one package and it's still cheaper. This is just towel material sewn in a convenient way so while it's a great invention it's not a particularly difficult item to produce or from unusual materials, so I feel like the price should lower, or the material should be much more luxurious to account for the higher cost. This is just a normal terry cloth or similar type feeling not soft or attractive looking.

Tight fit even on a small head
I have been using a TurbieTwist for a couple of years so I am familiar with how to use the turban style hair towel. I have used the Aquis hair turban about 4 times so far and thought people would like to know that even for someone like me who has a small head, it is quite a tight fit. Once I secure the button, the turban almost pulls my hair so that I am concerned about breakage. The towel was so tight that I have to make sure my ears are on the outside and it left dents in my forehead. I didn't twist the turban excessively (3 times?) but will try again and twist the towel less and hope that helps. Update: After 2 months of use I only twist it about once or twice now, still need to make sure my ears are out, not as much concern about hair breakage but still leaves dents on my forehead. I will look for another black hair turban towel.

I'm a convert
I thought hair drying turbans were kind of an affectation -- something fancy ladies wore while doing their nails or such. Well, I bought this randomly after seeing a review that it might help reduce frizz in curly hair. OMG YES. It does! I've always air-dried my hair. Now I wrap my wet hair in this, go about my business, & in an hour or so, when I take it out, my hair is mostly dry & my curls are just curly, not frizzball in need of taming. It's not absolutely magic, I still need to use serum, but I definitely get more curl for longer than I used to, thanks to wearing this turban. I'm a convert now!

Worth it
I have purchased a few if these over the years and find that investing in the real thing is worth the extra money. First, for those of us with thick and/or long hair, this turban actually can handle the whole mane. Other versions tend to be smaller and I had trouble getting all of my hair in them. The material does a great job of absorbing water, reduces frizz and helps to shorten the drying process. I also prefer the loop on the back. It is a sturdy rope-like loop vs. the elastic loop on mist ithers that stretches out easily. For me, worth the extra dollars for a longer lasting, higher quality product.

Very pleased with this purchase!
I did quite a bit of research before buying this towel. I have long, medium thick hair. A body towel is quite heavy on my neck and also creates an additional challenge to get dressed when having a thick towel on your head... this is a compact, high quality, small enough, yet very effective towel. It actually dried quite a bit of my hair whilst I got ready for my day.The button and "hook" is also sewn on very well. There's also an extra band that allows you to hang it up to dry after each use.I am pleased with this purchase. We'll done!

Too pricey and far from "perfect"
I use hair twist towels a lot. This Aquis towel is the most expensive I have bought and my least favourite, because:1) It has a button closure instead of an elastic loop that you pull the tail through. This means it has one fit and you can't adjust it for your hair thickness or head size. And it is TIGHT! Also, unlike most hair towels, it has elastic all around the edges -- this sounds like a nice upgrade, but it's so darn tight! It leaves deep dents in my head all around my hairline and I can't use it at all over a shower cap when I have conditioner on. It's uncomfortable to wear and hurts my ears. The towels that have an elastic loop for the tail are so much better because you can set the fit however you want (yes, the elastic stretches out over time, but buttons also come off over time, so either way you have to replace them eventually or do a little repair work.)2) The fabric is really thick, which sounds nice, but it's not plush. It’s hard and stiff making for a less comfortable fit. And I have not noticed that it is any more absorbent than my thinner, softer towels that feel nice to the touch.I have used the towel about 10 times with no sign of the fit getting looser, though I expect that when it does stretch out it might be too loose, because you can't adjust the fit.Honestly, you can get two Turbie Twist hair towels for $20 or even $15 at Bed, Bath and Beyond when they are on sale, and they fit great and are way more comfortable. They aren't the best ones on the market: I have one that I absolutely love, but sadly, I can't figure out the brand (why do company’s make products without putting branding labels on them? I’d happily buy one for every friend I have if I knew what kind it was. Argh).Anyway, when I bough the Aquis towel I was hoping it was the one I loved, but it was just a waste of money. I only use this one when my other ones are in the wash. I'm wearing it now and can't wait to get this uncomfortable thing off my head.
