It's ok for quick replacement for a short term, but not good quality. I had to buy a better one.

The Univen glass espresso carafe is practical and durable, ideal for preparing and serving coffee with precision. Its compact and transparent design allows for easy measurement of the contents and a better enjoyment of your espresso.

This carafe is almost identical to the original carafe that broke after 20 years, except the handle is hollow, not solid and has a cap at the end of the handle that has come out accidentally, but I just fit it back in and it doesn't affect performance. The hollow handle fills with water when I submerge it to wash the carafe, so I have to pop the cap and empty the dishwater. A simple replacement has kept my old espresso maker functioning a bit longer. The original lid fits pretty well into the top, but it is slightly loose and this did not have an option for a lid, so I am not sure one is really necessary. Without the lid, the machine splashes a little coffee outward on my counter. After 6 months of use the measurement lines are wearing off.
