Broke after 9 months BUT a new lens unit was sent
Impressive for 9 months, then, ... The video went gray static though audio continued to work. This fixed itself but then lost WiFi 2 days latter and the unit is unable to connect.Thank you Michelle B. I was impressed by Michelle B. but Logitech should rethink their business decision here- one phone call vs. 6 emails over more then a week.I do not understand why Logitech thinks a phone call is too expensive. I'm hoping COVID-19 isn't being used as an excuse. After several emails I was able to get a pass and a new lens unit was sent out.

Paid subscription required to use this camera's "features"! Avoid this product!
Cons:- THE CAMERA DOES _NOT_ OPERATE WITHOUT AN INTERNET CONNECTION. This is 100% intolerable. There are no options to connect this camera to an existing security system nor are there any options to use a local recording device. How can a "security camera" be secure if the security footage must leave the local, secure network?!- None of the motion detection options operate locally! The camera streams video 24 hours a day to a 3rd party service. LOGITECH FORCES ALL OWNERS OF THIS CAMERA TO PAY A MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION FEE FOR WHAT THEY LIST AS A 'FEATURE' OF THIS CAMERA. IT IS NOT A FEATURE OF THIS CAMERA! IT IS A PAID, PREMIUM FEATURE FOR THEIR ONLINE SERVICES!- Because it must upload data to a 3rd party server AND download streaming video (network congestion) back to a local computer or smart device, connectivity is intermittent and poor. Live streaming is useless because of this. Not only does it add 5-30 seconds of lag to the feed, the live feed is forcibly paused and does not automatically resume. This is the opposite of how a security camera should operate. I have a 200Mbit internet connection with 50Mbit of upload bandwidth. This should NEVER be an issue with the amount of bandwidth I have and it wouldn't be if I were able to store the video on my network!- The standard (included) mount is not designed to support the weight of both the camera and the battery. It will not stay positioned without additional support.Pros:- Decent camera lens and sensor. Too bad no one can take advantage of either one since video can't be recorded to a local device and stream compression reduces the quality significantly, making this pointless.- Attractive design? I'm reaching here.I don't recommend this camera for anyone.

great color and clearness to see who is commingor going on your property love the aspect you can do your own monitering
Once I had Logitech help with installation and set up it sure works wonderfully and with no hassle the camera is amazing in clarity and the battery life is very good all I can say is I wish the charging time was shorter but it definetely takes a good 4 hours or more t get them thoroughly charged and the reset button on the side isn't clearly marked and hard to keep pressed down but once they walk you through it its a piece a cake glad I didn't return it and called around to get them to work properly the Logitech people couldn't be nicer to work with !!

It's the camera you're looking for (if you do your research)
The only reason I have this camera is to keep an eye on our dog while we're not home. I was surprised at how wide the lens is. You can really put it any where high up and get the entire room into the picture easily. We opted for the wire free version. Installed on a Friday and now on Tuesday it's still at 60% battery, pretty good if you ask me.The only issue I'd like Logitech to work on is the time it takes to connect. Count on a good 15-20 seconds for the live feed to pop up on the app. Not a big deal but can be a bit annoying when you're on the go. App is simple and easy to use, comes with 24 hours of free storage which is all we need.DO YOUR RESEARCH, watch YouTube reviews etc. There are cameras like nest, eufy etc. We wanted wire free, free storage, and a camera only setup (no console). This is a solid wire free camera from a name brand that does the job.

Great improvements, still improvements to be made.
My initial review was less than glowing, and rightfully so. Logitech released this product before it was ready. That said, I've changed my rating from 2 stars to 4. I'm basing my review and rating on the product it is NOW (quite a good device), not what it was at launch (a piece of junk).Let's go over the good here:Picture is quite good. It's 1080p, and it's pretty, though you DO have to fudge settings to get it to that point. It defaults to 720p. Framerate is amazing, it's VERY fluid video. So yeah, good job on that. The Daily Brief feature is amazing. It works amazingly well. Only way it could be BETTER would be if you could pause it, tap it, and have it bring up that particular clip.Integration with Echo Show is fairly seamless and simple.Camera isn't bad looking either.Shout out to their customer service being excellent. My wife broke the camera on accident (the lens) and the RMA process was painless. Now for the negatives. Obviously if they make improvements here, I'll make some modifications:Battery life isn't great. I'm sure there's more optimizations to be done that can improve it.Wake/streaming time is a bit long. Since launch (I'm an early adopter type) it started at 50 seconds, then down to 20 seconds. Seems like it's about 15 seconds now before live video shows up in the app, so they've definitely improved. For video to show up on an Echo Show or Echo Spot, it's about 30 seconds or more. That's WAY too long, but at least they've really improved the app experience. The lens is badly placed. I'd have set the camera a bit deeper. Since the lens extends past the front of the camera, it's easily broken even falling less than a foot. I'm tempted to put a little foam ring around it to protect my replacement (again, the rma process is very good). The mounting system: Looks good, but doesn't function well. The "tab" that inserts into the camera doesn't hold it well (too easy to remove) and you can't adjust the tightness of the ball joint. Thus, the camera DOES tend to droop over time. Also: The base of the mount is TINY. The positive is the camera has a smaller footprint. The negative is you HAVE to screw-mount it to the wall. No other option. Arlo and other battery-powered cameras have a wide enough base on the mount that you can use either 3M strips or a silicon glue to adhere it to the wall. The app, while good, has the most power-hungry background processes I've seen. The app, running ONLY in the background, chewed through 10% of my phone's battery while the phone had the screen off, in about 2.5 hours. I have to force-stop the app after I'm done using it to make sure there's no background processes running, chewing through my battery. So that's my revised review. A lesson to you, Logitech: not too many people will revise their reviews once improvements are made. Do it right at launch with widespread testing before launch, rather than relying on customers to test it.Revisions: I recently dropped to 3 stars - battery performance seems to be worse, and the Echo Show integration, while seamless, it takes an inordinately LONG amount of time to show the stream on an echo Show or Spot. Compare Logi's 30 seconds (and sometimes more) to Arlo's 9 seconds. The biggest negative lately is the app: for some reason, the app's background processes have become an IMMENSE battery hog.

Estamos profundamente decepcionados.
