These worked for me. Yearly I get swallows trying to make nests near the front door. I kept removing them before they could lay eggs. Frustrated I got these. So far so good. No nests. I have seen them try to approach but get spooked and fly away. My neighbor has the same issue and I gave her some. I would definitely buy again and recommend.

I liked the reflective discs, but putting on the circular attachments was too difficult. I put my own string on as the holes tore when trying to open the circular metal attachments. It's only been two days but the squirrels seems to stop digging in my plants when the breeze is blowing. I added a few reflective strings to add to the movement of the reflective discs.

These are a waist of money. They definitely do not scare the birds at all. Very cheaply made product, the reflective film comes off quickly and the cheap plastic discs break within a couple months. The metal clasps provided rusted in less than a month.

These seemed to slow down the raspberry carnage this summer. I hung them and left them, of course the birds have their way with raspberries anyway but I think it helped. Would recommend trying.

Well, it’s probably better than nothing, but for the price, I guess I expected more. 🤷🏼‍♀️. It women’s in dozens of pieces, between all of the discs, loops, attachments rings and hooks …you’ll need to remove the film from BOTH sides of the discs. I will say that they do look rather interesting, almost decorative. They’ve helped to curb the amount of birds we have flying under the eaves of a second story deck, but it definitely doesn’t deter them all. They’re super lightweight, so be sure to carefully secure them when hanging…otherwise the slightest bid of wind will take them right down. I may end up just trying aluminum foil… I think it would accomplish the same thing at a much cheaper price…. although it won’t look as decorative as these spinning discs 🤭. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Finally! I have relief from pesty barn swallows. They were building nests in our pergola and made it un-useable (pooping all over our outdoor furniture and swooping down at you anytime we got close by). We put these up around the pergola and no more birds!!! We finally can use our pergola again.

Not sure what breed of bird you are trying to scare off with these, but I can assure you that these do not work against a pair of very determined barn swallows who were desperate to build a nest on top of the camera on our front porch. We hung all of these up, tried various locations and combinations all around our front porch, but the swallows kept coming back to build a nest on our camera. My husband finally crafted a cardboard "case" around the camera, blocking their access to that corner of the porch entirely, and THAT was what finally deterred them. On the plus side, I enjoyed how shiny these were when they flipped about in the sun, but a bird deterrant, they certainly were not.
