So easy to use
When will this be back in stock! I tried this out and as the description said, my concrete is now sealed! So easy to use, no prep for me, just put in a sprayer and put on the concrete. 2 hours later, I did my entire 3 car garage, driveway and patio. I used 1:3 mix and 3 gallons. I want to buy more to put on a second coat and hope it last 5-10 years! Hope to see more in stock soon. It is non-slippery, even in my semi-polished concrete in the garage (it absorbed just fine, just took a little longer), water beads up, and doesn't discolor the concrete. Couldn't be more happy with this product. Can't believe I never sealed any of my concrete for years. I will be doing my basement and shower next.

Exceptional product - Amazing customer support.
I set out to restore a 15 year old garage floor that was in good shape but had remnants of product that didn't last. I wanted a product that would repel water, oils, etc but didn't make the floor slippery. I can attest that if you follow the instructions and prepare your concrete before applying ToughCrete, you can have a slip-resistant water repelling surface. I may have overdone the prep work, but I didn't want to have to redo anything. I'd even consulted ToughCrete on adding colorant (you can add a water based colorant, but I chose not to go this route) and they responded quickly and with suggestions. Additionally, I needed assistance on how much product to apply since initially I wasn't getting the water repellancy I was expecting. Since I surface ground my concrete to remove the residual coating, I may have made it a bit more porous than typical garage floors, I needed to apply more ToughCrete than was mentioned in the literature. I'd like to thank Steve for helping me out as I'd sent him photos and descriptions of my process. With some time and patience (it took about 7 days after the application for the water to repel like you see in the product literature). My process for a concrete that's been surface ground [attached photos show the timelapse based on the text below] Garage floor was prepped by surface grinding to level out the surface [optional based on condition of floor] Surface was pressure washed [Removes particulate] Surface was allowed to dry for a few days with fans running. I mixed ToughCrete in a 1:1 ratio (20 year mix) and applied it at a 2 oz of mix per square foot [1 oz/square foot of 1:1 mix may sufficient if the concrete hadn't been ground]. The mix puddled at this ratio, but started to absorb within about 20 minutes. Puddling was mitigated by back rolling. It took about 4 hours for the surface to be dry to the touch [slight darkening of the surface was evident] I avoided foot traffic for 24 hours [surface was no longer darker - original surface color] After 2 days, the water beads slightly, but does spread out a bit. After 7 days, the water beads like waxed metal...Very impressed.

It sealed and was easy to apply
We used it on a building floor. It went on easy. The only thing is I thought it would be more shinier and stop letting tire Mark's show.

Good stuff and easy to apply
Be sure to powerwash your concrete then after it dries well, this sealer is easily applied with a tank sprayer. It claims that it will last 10 years when diluted with water in a 2:1 ratio. I will have to let you know if it does last 10 years as I only have about 1 month on it so far!

It's worth it!
Very easy to use. I applied it with a garden sprayer. The little puddling I had I used an old floor broom to spread it out. This is the 2nd time I have used this product. 1st was on the garage floor, now on a new driveway. Just make sure you use the correct ToughCrete for the type of surface (smooth vs rough concrete finish). Rain rolls right off , spills wipe up easily without staining, and protects from pitting due to road salt in winter. It says a 10yr warranty but we shall see. I will just reapply as needed in the future, it's that easy to use. And with the cost of concrete this is worth every penny to keep it looking good. My driveway contractor charges $2000.00 for sealing. I can get a lifetime of ToughCrete for much, much less

Noticeable difference on partially treated driveway
So far so good. I sprayed it down on the garage floor and part of the driveway. I rinsed out the water bottles and the product bottle into the sprayer and did more of the driveway. After it all dried, I sprayed some water on the driveway and even the diluted areas repelled the water. You could see the difference of the drive way as the water ran down it to the street as the water ran on full strength, to diluted, to untreated areas. See pictures after 4 days. The part next to garage and cracks are full strength, and part of driveway 5 feet from garage is diluted bottle rinse strength, then untreated before crack.Notice how the water spreads out on untreated section and the water beads up and races across the treated areas.Used a stiff plastic bristle floor broom helped spread the sealer. Reserving one star for longevity. It's been 5 years and it still does what it did, you have earned the 5th star! Shoveling snow and ice off the treated part of driveway is noticeably different from untreated parts. Good stuff!

Useless, Ineffective, poor communication and they do not back up their warranty!!
If I could give this product a negative star, I sure would! My husband applied everything as directed. The concrete does not bead, is discolored, and has spalling and deterioration in many places. Customer Service is slow to respond or doesn’t respond at all. I was told my driveway issue did not qualify for a refund. Their own description says it protects against spalling and deterioration. They tried to “trick” me by saying “which bothers you-discoloration or spalling”. I should have said “both”. By asking me the question about my photo, they confirmed I had an issue. I wasted $600 for NOTHING and it actually looks worse now than before. I confirmed that by looking at a “before” pic of the driveway. I sent them their own words back "If you don’t like it, just let us know and we will provide a full refund." and told them to do what they say. THEY DON'T!!!! He told me there were "external factors" at play (isn't that what his product is supposed to protect against???). He told me to pressure wash and buy a different product. I would buy a better product if he didn't TAKE my $600 for this lousy one!

Excellent customer service and now wait to see result
Project: Seal a 13 year old, 560 sq. ft. driveway. Product: Toughcrete 1 gallon diluted 2:1, water:product. Application: Pump style 3 gal. garden sprayer followed with 1/2 inch nap roller. Time: 75 minutes. Pictures show the driveway 1) before, 2) after professional cleaning with a scrub attachment and power-wash, 3-5) project stages and 5) 40 minutes after finishing. After reading reviews here and on other sites I chose this product. I was a little confused to the dilution rate per sq. ft. so posted a question on Quest Chemicals website and received a call within an hour. Tim, who called, was extremely helpful and answered every question completely. 10 days after the power-wash I applied the product with a sprayer followed immediately by a light touch with a 1/2" nap roller. The instructions said to obtain a solid milky white coverage but maybe my driveway was so porous that I didn't quite get there (I would have needed 3X the amount of sealer to get that!). I did get a solid coverage with a mostly milky white coverage so hopefully that will be enough. All of the concrete did get completely wet though. Yet, I always get a bit worried when the instructions don't accurately equate to reality. As the pictures show it darkened the concrete but I fully expect this is only because it is wet so I am not worried about discoloration at all. I will post again after 24 hours and after a rain which is expected in two days from now. 9/1/2021: Not happy at all. Rust spots developed on my driveway around 2 months after application. Now my driveway is staining like all the untreated driveways. The only difference between theirs and mine is that they didn’t waste over $100. Sigh, was a good try…
