Wow!
When this arrived, I was wowed at how tiny the box was that it came in. I knew it was going to be small, but my goodness, this thing is cute! While this is super cute, it is quite handy and I love it. It is small and unassuming. Anyone can pull this out and people are not threatened by the smallness of the knife and they are familiar with the brand enough to see it as a tool. This comes with a great setup of handy tools that can be used every day in nearly all environments. *The little knife is quite tiny, but is very sharp and useful. It is perfect for most every day tasks, such as opening packages. *The file tool can be used in, at least, three different ways. Of course you can use the file in a handful of ways itself, whether evening out whittling marks or using it to file nails. The tip can be used as a screwdriver, to clean under your nails, or, my main use-case for this tool, to pull staples out of things (it’s good for light prying). *The Phillips head screw driver is awesome! It is tiny, but works on things you wouldn’t expect it to be large enough to fit (I tightened up the regular-sized screws on my doorknob today and it worked like a charm). It is also magnetic, which just makes this thing that much more awesome. This tool has a wire stripper and a cap lifter, too, and they’re nice to have in the off-change I might use them, especially if not taking up more space, but I don’t know that I’ll ever actually use either. *The scissors are small and sharp and easy to use. They are very springy and cut effortlessly. They are perfect for normal, every day uses, such as cutting tags, snipping loose strings, etc. *The toothpick is self stated, but can be used for other life hack type things, I’ve seen. I might use this in a toothpick emergency, but it wouldn't be something I’d find myself habitually using. *The tweezers can come in handy for a great number of tasks, such as plucking the stray hair, removing a splinter, or even removing a tick if such an event were to occur. Overall, this knife is super tiny and packs a powerful punch. I think this is about the perfect every day carry sort of tool. I do like a dedicated, locking knife for a handful of other tasks, but for 90% of my uses, this little guy is a gem. You slide it in your pocket or purse and it easily disappears and is not intimidating, yet is very useful, when pulled out. I highly recommend this and find that everyone could benefit from one of these.

Great Little SAK for Urban EDC
Of all the Swiss Army Knives this is far and away the best choice for normal urban EDC. It has just the right number of tools for urban needs. The Philips screwdriver is a plus as the Classic omits this. The file is also a good addition and I use it all the time. The scissors are small but very effective. Again, just enough for urban folks in a small, unobtrusive package that slides easily into any pocket and hangs well on a pocket clip, too.

The perfect balance of useful tools and compact size
I have a ton of keyring gadgets and tools but the Victorinox Rambler is now a must-have on my keys for every day use. It’s the perfect balance of useful tools and super compact size all wrapped up into a well thought out design with high-quality craftsmanship. All of the tools are useful for everyday tasks and the combo tool is super handy to have for the Phillips driver end (the bottle opener and wire stripper are just a bonus in my eyes). I have tested the Phillips driver with both small and larger Phillips head screws and it worked successfully. The knife blade arrived very sharp and ready for use, the scissors cuts quite well despite its small size, and the flathead with file works nicely for smaller tasks. One added design bonus is the fact that both the blade and the scissors hinge open at the opposite side of the keyring. Since these are my most used tools it is helpful to have these tools deploy away from my keyring setup so I can work more easily when cutting without my keys getting in the way. The tweezers could be useful and the toothpick is a nice to have item but not necessary for my daily use. My requirements in a keyring multitool (when not going through TSA) are: a blade, scissors, Phillips head driver, and flathead driver. The Rambler has all of those in a form factor that practically disappears in a pocket or on a keyring. There is a reason Victorinox has been around for so long and continues to make quality tools. The level of attention to detail, high-quality craftsmanship, and precision manufacturing are hard to find today but Victorinox does a fantastic job with the Rambler by balancing just the right amount of functionality with super portability. I highly recommend it, I just wish they also made it in black, too! Build quality: High quality, well designed

The GOAT of keychain knives
What else is there to say? Maybe the greatest keychain multi tool ever made, and an excellent choice for EDC in general. A multi tool’s value is dependent on having it on your person when needed, and there is nothing easier to carry than the Rambler. It’s smaller than I thought, but every tool is functional and they are the ones most people are most likely to need. Scissors are tiny but have Victorinox’s usual excellent fit and finish, and between them and the file they are perfectly sufficient to fix your nails on the go. Knife blade is likewise tiny, but sharp and plenty large enough to slice open boxes and packages. Tweezers and toothpick are same full size that come on 91mm Swiss Army Knives. Philips screwdriver is well made and works, but I wouldn’t go trying to push it too hard. As for the small flathead on the end of the file, I would have liked if they had made it either large enough to use on full size slotted screws, or small enough to use on eyeglass screws, but it should still work on some small fasteners in a pinch, and can double as a fingernail cleaner. Considering I can open a bottle with just about any flat hard object, the bottle opener is the tool I am least likely to ever use, but it is integrated into the phillips screwdriver and therefore not taking up space unnecessarily. Seeing how small this thing is, I realized that a 91mm SAK, provided its not too thick and chunky, would not be too large to hang on my keychain, but Victorinox has yet to make one with a tool set as perfect for EDC as this one. My ideal 91mm keychain SAK would have: knife, scissors, coarse/fine file, phillips driver and flathead driver, with tweezers, toothpick, and a pen contained in the scales. If they could find room somewhere for an eyeglass screwdriver that would be a bonus. Until they make my perfect keychain SAK, the Rambler is as close as it gets. It has almost everything you need and nothing you don’t.

Great for skin wounds/burns
So I will say this is definitely not an advertised use LOL, but these little knives work amazingly well for skin related injuries. I severely burned my hand grilling, and was really struggling with the excess tissue immediately around the wound as the burn healed. The scissors on these knives can get crazy close to your skin without harming or cutting tissue around it. I actually showed the burn clinic how well they worked and they were impressed (you of course want to sterilize them before and after each use). They also work amazingly well for hangnails, much better than clippers, and after recent foot surgery, I immediately turned to it to assist as that wound healed as well. Again, make sure you are cleaning the scissors after each use, but you would be hard-pressed to find anything that works even remotely as well as these. Just wanted to throw it out there as I tried it on a whim and could not have been more impressed by how well and versatile this little tool can be. Every member of my family has one of these on their keychain and we have the larger versions in our vehicles. I actually used one of the larger knives at one point to cut the plastic underside of my vehicle off of the car when the screws became faulty and the entire underside front started dragging on the freeway going 75 miles an hour in the middle of nowhere. We could not drive with it like that, my daughter and I would have been stranded without it. I cannot recommend the various styles of this brand/tool enough!!

Excellent and Affordable.
Useful tool and priced right. I have two other Swiss Army knives (A Super Tinker and a Cadet) but in light pants they make a rather weighty bulge. This puppy rides on my keychain unnoticed and has the tools I need most; scissors, screw driver, bottle opener, file and blade. Due to its size, the tiny blade isn't always what I need so I sometimes carry a Spyderco in my opposite pocket when wearing jeans. The blade is fine for opening packages and boxes, which is often all I need a knife to do.

Pretty Good/Very Useful Micro Swiss Army Knife
A good standard micro Swiss Army knife. Great for opening packages. The small phillips screwdriver is surprisingly handy for very small screws. It has a nice knife blade and a good pair of micro scissors. I like the form factor/shape. I do think that there is room for improvement in things such as the flat blade screwdriver.

Great Little Knife
Love this model - perfect size and built well. With a versatile selection of tools, it’s a great EDC item. By the way, TSA has several of my former ones - I inevitably forget to either leave at home or check in my luggage - it will and does get confiscated by our zealous airline watchdogs! Plan and act accordingly. 🙂

Upgraded from the Classic SD — Worth It
I carried a Victorinox Classic SD for years and loved it. Then I switched to the Rambler, and it immediately became obvious this was a smarter, more capable version of the Classic. It keeps the same compact, lightweight, keychain-friendly feel, but adds a magnetic Phillips screwdriver, bottle opener, and wire stripper. Those extra tools make a real difference and covers almost everything. The scissors are sharp, the blade is perfect for everyday jobs, and the build quality is exactly what you expect from Victorinox. Nothing feels cheap or wasted. If you liked the Classic SD and want more function without extra bulk, this is the upgrade. For everyday carry, this hits the sweet spot.

Close to perfection.
I'd go as far to say that this multitool is the best on the market for it's size and pocketability. If you need anything more than this, you're going to need a more full size multitool or a tool specific for the task at hand. This tool covers basic nail care, almost all day to day furniture and fixture household screws as well as small childrens toy's and basic electrical appliance needs. Why Victorinox has not made an alox version already is beyond me. That would sellout overnight for the slimfactor, at the cost of the tweezers and toothpick. TlDR, looking for a bare bones sleek EDC. This is the one.

Pequeña y útil
Pequeña, versátil, de calidad, económica... acaba por hacerse imprescindible. Una magnífica compañera para el día a día, eso sí: de pequeño tamaño, lo cual es una ventaja o un inconveniente que cada quien debe valorar
