I didn't pay attention and missed that this was for hard floors as the size was foremost in my search. It does almost nothing for carpets. That said, finding carpet mats this big for a price I could stomach was difficult, so I salvaged this by getting 2 normal sized mats and using some double sided tape to hold this mat on top of them. This allows my chair to move freely without the seam between the hard mats being noticable.

Seems thick and sturdy enough to work perfectly on hardwood floors. Doesn't seem like it will wear or break anytime soon. Was also in great condition with no manufacturing defects. Only downside is that it slides around a little bit as my roller chair moves around on it, and this is on hardwood floors, but it doesn't take away too much from the product. Happy I got this one after reading a lot of negative reviews for different chair mats.

I have mixed reviews on this. It does the job it’s great. The only problem I have is it keeps sliding forward and I have to pull it back, but my chair does great on it.

Arrived rolled up. Rolled it out. The only minor curling I had was on the inner edge of the roll. Weighing it down wasn't necessary for me. I just applied alien tape under the four corners and under the inner edge of the roll. And it was ready for immediate use. It keeps it in place, even on carpet. WITHOUT DAMAGE. This larger size was perfect to protect my rental entry. And I opted for the smooth under surface because it was more affordable then the one with carpet pegs. AND IT WORKS BEAUTIFULLY. OH, AND THE MAT with the gentle reminder to take off you shoes, was placed under the plastic to protect it as well. Which does not cause any problems with staying in place. ALSO-the vacuum glides over the mat perfectly without catching the corners of the mat and chewing it up. As it did with a thinner plastic runner I had there before. THIS MAT IS STURDY AND VERY WELL MADE, WORTH EVERY PENNY.

As expected! Lays flat, protects the floors, and chairs roll easily on it.

This has got to be the sorriest floor cover to go under my home office chair I have ever seen in my life. I usually don’t give negative reviews & I received this 4 days ago so tried to make a go of it but it is awful. I will post pictures to show how cheap this product is. It is very thin & flimsy. It is delivered in a small cardboard box & the product is rolled up tight inside the box so now no matter what way I lay it down under my desk - the ends roll up, get caught under my chair, under my feet, won’t stay in place, it is very frustrating. My job is a telecommuting job & I have to account for every minute of the day I work & I have wasted several minutes dealing with this cheap under office chair floor padding. Now, with that being said, I will say my office has flat hard carpeting in it, I’m not sure whether maybe it would work better on hardwood floors or tile but not sure I’d want to take the chance for fear of it getting twisted up under my chair & causing me to flip out of my chair & break a hip. I have issued a request for a return & hoping for some good customer service. This pad might work in a child’s room under a small desk chair with little behinds. I’m not large - I am an average adult sized woman & it didn’t work for me. Delivery was fast is why I gave it 1 star. I will look at Walmart for a better padding!

It came out of the package a little curled in the front, and still has not flattened out after months of use. It's nice and thick, and definitely is a nice barrier to protect my hardwood. It does, however, scooch ALL OVER THE PLACE. If I so much as move my desk chair slightly, the whole thing slides around. I could probably find something to remedy this, but you'd hope that a product would just do what it should do. If putting this over carpet, it'd probably be a lot more solid/steady.

We took a chance on these mats since the price was much less than a comparable product at our local chain office supply store. Our 2 mats arrived promptly and did not have any odor at all. We unrolled them, then rolled them in the opposite direction before laying them on the floor. They both lay flat immediately and don't slide at all on the hard floor. The mats allow the beauty of the floor to be seen through them. The mats appear to be durable. We are well pleased and highly recommend these mats. They're great mats and an excellent value.

Arrived today. Good quality, good size, well worth the money spent on it.

Die Bodenmatte war für den Transport relativ eng zusammengerollt. Nach dem auslegen an den Kanten leicht wellig. Mit schweren Gegenständen über mehrere Tage am Boden fixiert ist nur noch eine kleine Wölbung vorhanden. Stört aber nicht weiter. Die Rutschfestigkeit auf Laminat ist recht gut. Mit dem Schreibtischstuhl nach ein paar Tagen hin und her rollen muss man die Position der Matte leicht korrigieren. Transparenz ist gut, so dass die Matte kaum auffällt und man den schönen Laminatbelag darunter gut erkennen kann.

Un peu long à prendre sa forme et se déplier,une légère odeur mais après 24h c’était niquel .La tapis a une bonne épaisseur et de bonne qualité.

Ich bin mit der Schutzmatte sehr Zufrieden...nach ca 1 jahr Dauer einsatz ist sie weiterhihn in einem sehr guten Zustand Kann ich sehr Empfehlen!!!

I bought it for my son's room under his rolling chair. It flattened well. No strong plastic odor and looks good. Just one minor thing, it attracts dust and dirts around the edge.
