I use this every 2-3 days when I want my hair to be straight. This works really well to smooth out my hair.

This actually works if used properly. I live in humid Florida and my Spanish hair is hard to keep from frizzing up. This makes my hair silky soft and keeps my hair from frizzing! How I use is after washing my hair I let my hair air dry for 10 to 15 minutes or towel dry, I part my hair into small parts and spray my hair enough to where it's soaked. I then use a blow dryer brush combo to dry my hair straight & then I use my hot iron. This is a great value & worth every penny.

Does it make your hair waterproof ? No ! But my hair is more resistant to humidity. It’s been a week since I had my silk press and it’s still pretty good. The result it gives is definitely worth it, from the blow dry to the straightening process. My hair was silky and shiny. My 4c hair has never been so nice with me haha. Of course I followed a few steps that I deemed important : Clarifying shampoo to make sure my hair is stripped from all the heavy products I used before ; then hydrating shampoo ; a good conditioner and then the sleek product (reapplying when I had to straighten). The result is definitely a combination of all of this but the heat protection and the silky result is definitely from this one. I bought a second bottle.

This product is magic! It turns my dry hair to shine and sleek with no hint of oil. Easy to use with the fine spray. No stickiness at all, in fact my hair feels like silk now. I spray a light spray every other morning and it lasts 48 hours. I have quite long hair. I need so little that the value is one of the best! I love this product!

It leaves a subtle, pleasant scent on the hair. Limited Usage: Due to the greasiness issue, I find myself using this spray sparingly, which limits its effectiveness on extremely humid days. I need to be cautious not to apply too much. Overall, this anti-humidity shine coat spray serves its purpose as a budget-friendly alternative to a higher-end product.

My wife bought this product because of all the advertising she saw online, but her frustration has been huge. We live in Florida, and the heat and humidity here are something else. This product promises to control frizz and keep hair under control for several days, but in reality, it only controlled the frizz for about 40 minutes, and then boom, it was back to normal. She did several tests, using a blow dryer and brush, a flat iron, and even a straightening brush, but the result was always disappointing. She hasn’t bought it again and is still searching for something truly effective to control this issue.

This product is very comparable in performance to a well-recognized name brand. At half the cost. The shine, humidity control, and texture is as close as it comes to that other product. The fragrance is what is different. It is stronger, but not offensive. I have a combination of 2C, three a, 3B curls and it’s in my armory of three post-wash and condition products. I also use it between shampoos to refresh the curl when the humidity is lower. Recommended.
