I think Large size is quite enough for you. When searching for a white garter belt, I did a lot of research reading many of the reviews that were provided for this item. Trusting what other plus size girls had said, I purchased the XXL believing that the stretch in it would fit me well. I was very disappointed to find that the XXL is just a little too small for me. I was also very disappointed to see that the item itself is not as it is pictured. While the design looks the same, the actual mesh is very thin compared to the pictures, which make the item look a little more opaque. What I do like about the item are the 6 straps, which is different than most other items and the metal clips, which are very hard to find and a lot more reliable than their plastic counterparts. I will purchase the larger size, but give this 3 stars, taking off two for overall size and appearance.UPDATE: Bought the 3X and it is larger than expected. Given the alternative, I am keeping the larger size, but overally disappointed at the inconsistent sizing and the very thin material.
