Review: Mighty happy I discovered this series of 4 volumes. - I tutor ESL adult students as a Laubach volunteer. One woman I teach left Korea with a thorough understand of English grammar but with a meager vocabulary, and fears being expected to read a book in English or engage in a meaningful conversation. We're still using Vol. 1 of this series, but already she is gaining confidence in reading -- discovering that, having read the easier versions of the story, she is able to figure out meaning of words new to her in the "Advanced" version of the story.
