Simple, no nonsense made in the USA product that's made from pure food safe ingredients and delivers completely satisfying results. The composition is a butter soft wax that easily applied using just your thumb and fingers. Apply generously to new or refreshed smooth wood and allow to dry several hours or overnight before buffing to a very pleasing finish. I suggest two coats. Whether your usage is for maintenance or as a display quality finish, you won't be disappointed. And I really like the fact that this excellent product is produce by small, conscientious company who contributes a portion of its profits to animal welfare. Add to that a very fair price for an American produced product. One tin of this stuff will a long time.

Very nice makes our wooden cutting board glow and I have a Japanese knife wil a wooden handle that was passed down from my grandmother and this helps to preserve it! Also I like the cat on the logo

This wood butter is great. I simply wash my cutting boards, wait for them to dry, and buff this product in with a clean rag. Then I allow the oil to absorb into the boards for several hours, or overnight. This butter has significantly improved the condition of my wood cutting boards, allowing them to be moisturized and protected against warping, stains, and smells. It does not leave a sticky residue, or have any fragrance. It applies smoothly and absorbs quickly. I also use it on my wooden spoons.

I love how easy this cutting board wax/oil was to use and store. There is no smell, does not dry up and keeps my cutting board protected and a joy to cut on. I really like this product. I did have to buy another brush to apply onto the cutting board. Would recommend not to wash the cutting board with soap.
