I bought this new style keychain for my car keys. When I got it it looked really good. The car keys do attach to the keyring in a strange fashion. You have to unscrew a pin to attach your key to the horse shoe looking portion but it works really well. There is also a carabiner clip portion you can use for other keys. This one has a dark toned finish a polished antique nikel. Here is where the problems comes in: I have had this keychain for a couple months now and noticed the dark finish is wearing and chipping off in certain portions. There is a chrome type finish underneath the portions where the dark finish has come off; it would have made more sense for these to not been finished at all. Also the Ford logos on the leather strap are starting to wear off. I was hoping I would have gotten a better product as 14 bucks is pricy for just a keychain.

Key chain was not same quality as item picture shown in Amazon. Ford emblem and word FORD on strap were not embossed into strap. Ford emblem was not blue. Both emblem and word FORD were lightly spray painted on strap with silver paint. Very light paint, would have wore off after very little handling. Overall very cheaply made. Maybe a $1.99 key chain, definately not worth $12.99. I purchsed a very nice Ford Key chain at Autozone for $6.99. Would not receomend purchasing his item.

I like it a lot but it is very easy to scratch and that’s something it will normally be exposed to, I would give it a 5 stars if the paint on the metal parts were scratch proof. Other than that it looks very luxurious and safe to carry the keys with you always.
