Good grip, easy installation, looks nice, fits great on my ps5 controller, and comes at a perfect height. I feel like they really help on shooting games. Good quality.

I like them. I use them on the Scuf envision pro. I used the past pair over the last year or so, got pretty worn out but honestly the grip might have been better the more used it got.

Much more effective than you might initially think. The geometry does allow for much better accuracy with minor inputs. The change in stick height is actually a comfort improvement for me. That was a big concern, initially. I find that using a game pad that doesn’t have the mod causes discomfort. The fingpad has a nice texture that prevents slippage. The grooves allow airflow and keep your fingertips from getting too hot. Overall, probabaly the most impactful controller improvement (second only to shoulder button extenders) that I’ve come across.

If you use your control on a daily bases you will have to soon or later replace these. These fit my son’s ps5 controllers perfectly. Great replacement piece. Good as the original that came with the controllers.

The Black Galaxy joystick grips from KontrolFreek are a massive upgrade to your PS5 controller. I didn’t realize how much I needed these until I finally got around to buying them. The difference is noticeable almost immediately. After using these for several hours, I can vouch that the surface area of the joystick pad feels really good on the thumb. It adheres (or, “sticks”) to the skin as you play, resulting in a much more responsive and tactile feel while gaming. The pads snap into place over the PS5 joysticks and add several centimeters of height to each one. The effect of this is, when you engage the right joystick (R3) during gameplay, it “slows down” the response of your character’s looking actions all along the vertical and horizontal axes of the movement plane. This “slowing down” of the character’s looking actions is what allows for more precise aiming and faster acquisition of targets by the player. However, as good as they are, these joystick pads are not perfect. I find that the high-rise joystick is TOO tall for my comfort level. It forces my right hand into an unnatural and uncomfortable open position. So, I switched out the high-rise pad for the mid-rise pad on the right joystick, and left the L3 joystick alone. This made all the difference in the world for me. I will never go back to using both of the standard PS5 joysticks together again. If you’re interested in increasing your comfort while playing, as well as improving your KD ratio, then you NEED to buy these joystick pads from KontrolFreeks!

Best thumbstick grips ive used. Great texture and feel in the hand. Easy install and they feel durable. Very comfortable.

Been using these for over like 4-5 years and the right one finally broke so I ordered some yesterday arrived today and couldn’t be more happier or satisfied with my purchase these help you so much when it comes to getting better control for you controller and gain better accuracy movement etc. they don’t fall of easily they hug the joys sticks perfectly but only down part is they leave an indent on your analog sticks but I don’t use the standard ones so it doesn’t bother me I’d say these are absolutely perfect for anyone trying to step up there movement or aiming for any game they currently play 10/10 would highly recommend and I will be purchasing more in the future.

Very comfortable, allows quick precise movement with less effort to move joystick. Great product! Don’t Buy the PS5 version of the Kontrolfreek controller grip. Bought it twice and had to return twice because they keep sending the wrong version being PS4. Sent a review in twice but they won’t post it and keep ignoring customers who reported the problem to the company. Even requested them to send me the correct version for free for the sheer inconvenience of attempting to purchase the PS5 Controller Grip Version but no response. However have the time to approve this glowing review and don’t display the poor honest reviews of a product?

I’ve used a few different KontrolFreeks before, and the Galaxy Black set might be my favourite so far - hides dirt, so you don't have to clean it as often, but alas it still is a good idea to do so whenever possible; also it just looks clean. The high-rise on the right stick makes a noticeable difference in precision when aiming in games like Marvel Rivals or Fortnite. Flick shots feel smoother, and fine adjustments are easier without overcorrecting. The mid-rise on the left gives just enough elevation for movement without making it awkward or floaty. They lock onto the DualSense and DualShock sticks securely - no slipping or rotating, even during long sessions (8+ hours). The grip texture is soft but tacky enough to keep your thumbs planted, even when things get sweaty. The black-on-black look is subtle and clean - no flashy colours, just a slick, limited-edition vibe. Definitely a solid pick if you want a performance boost without sacrificing comfort or aesthetics. If you’ve never tried thumbstick extenders before, this is a great intro set. Easy to get used to, and the difference is pretty immediate once you start snapping onto targets more confidently.
