Ensure Pre-Surgery, Clear Carbohydrate Drink, Strawberry, 10 fl oz, 4 Count

This works great! I am diabetic and had to go on a 2 day clear fluid diet before surgery. I have struggled keeping my blood sugar and hunger under control. I bought this for this procedure and was pleasantly surprised. I bought strawberry, the flavor was good (no gag reflex) and with all the added nutrients I had better control on my blood sugar (no highs or lows) and it was a great meal replacement to curve off hunger. Recommend highly.

This was extremely helpful for my colonoscopy prep. It is a clear liquid that my doctor approved for the prep day and the morning of up until 3 hours before the procedure. I actually liked the taste, it helped me feel full, and it kept the lightheadedness at bay.

Was instructed to drink the night before and morning of surgery. It didn’t taste bad and actually tasted quite good for what it is. I did not come out of an anesthesia nauseas, did this contribute to that? I don’t know, but I’ll certainly take it again if instructed to do so

I was instructed to drink this Ensure product prior to surgery. Not sure why. It’s sugar water with some selenium and zinc. Couldn’t I simply have eaten more sugar, fruit, etc. and taken selenium and zinc supplements? It tastes like colonoscopy prep drink, which is to say it’s awful.

I had to drink this as a pre-surgery thing, and was not looking forward to it. However, it was surprisingly good tasting and it didn't smell bad. Texture was fine, more watery than expected but I'd rather have that than something unexpectedly gooey. I'd recommend it.

This item cleaned me out. I purchased more as I still have surgeries to go.

This product provided needed nourishment for a required clear liquid diet. It tastes good, but it is entirely too sweet for my taste.

Hip surgery. Doctor said use this. I did not expect the great taste.
