Meh, not bad. But, not great either.
Item Reviewed: Westone Audio - Mach 30 Universal IEM Wired EarbudsI was really excited to try out the Westone Audio Mach 30 Universal IEM Wired Earbuds. As someone who enjoys music and uses in ear monitoring in a bad - aand needs to use these earbuds on a daily basis, I was hoping these earbuds would be the perfect fit for me. Unfortunately, they weren't as impressive as I had hoped.First of all, I found the cable to be a bit flimsy, and I had to be careful with it so it wouldn't break. The fit was also a bit tricky for me, even though it came with a variety of tips. I could not find a tip that gave me the perfect seal, and it wasn't as comfortable as I hoped it would be.As for the sound quality, it was decent, but nothing to write home about. The lows, mids, and highs were balanced, but there was no "wow" factor for me. I expected more from a product with such a high price tag. I also compared the sound quality to my old earbuds, and I must say they weren't that much better.Overall, these earbuds were good, but not great. If you're a fan of Westone Audio, you may enjoy these earbuds more than I did. However, I'm not sure if I would recommend them to someone who's looking for a significant upgrade from their current earbuds.

Okay but not great
This review is for the Mach 30 (3 drivers). First of all, the cable is so thin that it feels like the earbuds are hanging on threads. I feel like I need to handle them very carefully to keep from breaking the cable. The thinness makes it tricky to route the cable over the ear when inserting the earbud into the ear. I also had problems with the fit. It comes with 10 pairs of tips. Five foam and 5 silicone in various sizes. I could not find a pair that gave me a good seal. It didn't feel all that comfortable either. I have the Westone W60 which I really like. The W60 fits me well and I can get a good seal with it. The sound comparison between the Mach 30 and W60 greatly favored the W60 which has 6 drivers. The Mach 30 emphasizes the highs while the bass comes up short. The sound has a lot of energy but it's not balanced. The W60 sounds more natural, with fuller bass and deeper sub-bass. The mids are very good and the highs are balanced for an excellent sound. I cannot recommend the Mach 30. However, your results may vary.

Terrible Sound Quality
These in-ear monitors sound terrible. The cheap earbuds that you find at the checkout stand in a grocery store sound better. The sound is thin with no low end. The BASN MMCX monitors sound WAY better and cost one-sixth the price. I cannot return these fast enough.

Very high quality audio.
I use these with my guitar stuff at home. They"re unbelievably clear and full sounding. I will never go back to inferior sounding gear. They are comfortable and lightweight. That makes them a joy instead of a chore to wear.

Terrible, and extremely overpriced.
My very first impression of these is what a terrible cable, one of the thinnest I have ever seen. I highly doubt its longevity. My next impression was what terrible cable noise, one of the loudest cables ever. Next would be sound.... Man what a disappointment, the Mach 30 is nowhere near the level of the sound quality of other triple-drive earbuds that I have used in the past. They sound like an average $20 pair you can get at a convenience store, with no spectacular qualities. Keep in mind these were used on a proper setup, DAC, amp, and good-quality tracks. They are not the worst earbuds I have had, but man considering the price of these, I have nothing good to say. Sure it has some nice accessories, but if the product they are used on is awful then the accessories are useless. If you want a nice pair of earbuds with 3 drivers and aren't a stickler about the detachable cable, go with the 1more triple drivers. SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper, and often goes on sale. I have a pair from October 2017 that I used for years in college that still work today.
