I’ve used a few different KontrolFreeks before, and the Galaxy Black set might be my favourite so far - hides dirt, so you don't have to clean it as often, but alas it still is a good idea to do so whenever possible; also it just looks clean. The high-rise on the right stick makes a noticeable difference in precision when aiming in games like Marvel Rivals or Fortnite. Flick shots feel smoother, and fine adjustments are easier without overcorrecting. The mid-rise on the left gives just enough elevation for movement without making it awkward or floaty. They lock onto the DualSense and DualShock sticks securely - no slipping or rotating, even during long sessions (8+ hours). The grip texture is soft but tacky enough to keep your thumbs planted, even when things get sweaty. The black-on-black look is subtle and clean - no flashy colours, just a slick, limited-edition vibe. Definitely a solid pick if you want a performance boost without sacrificing comfort or aesthetics. If you’ve never tried thumbstick extenders before, this is a great intro set. Easy to get used to, and the difference is pretty immediate once you start snapping onto targets more confidently.

I have used these for a while now testing them repeatedly on controller and off. I definitely find gameplay is more comfortable with these on the controller and I had noticed it was easier to have more control with movement and sensitivity without having to go into game settings and have to change loads of settings. Overall a great buy and for a bargain of a price.

I bought these when the original cover to the left thumb grip ripped, after many, many hours of play, with the perimeter ring mostly separating from the friction surface. They clip onto the levers over the top of the existing rubber covers, so the LH one pushed the separated ring out of position. This had the double effect of meaning that the unit did not fit firmly enough and kept falling off, especially during boss fights, and the displaced ring limited movement of the control. The controller became effectively unusable and I have now had to order replacement thumb grips. Hopefully it will fit over the replacement grip. In summary, they seem pretty good, but won't replace a torn grip.

I used these on a 3rd party controller for my Xbox as the Xbox ones are too big. Great value for money an really good quality, no slipperiness at all, may take a little bit to get used to but really easy to install, very functional and the comfort is great

Fantastic quality thumb grips

I’ve been using Kontrol Freeks for years now and I can say that they definitely work. While the differences may not be noticeably immediately, especially with the learning curve that these have. You will notice a substantial difference as you become more accustomed to them. My only warning is that once you start, reverting back to regular analog sticks will feel absolutely atrocious. You still can go back to regular analog sticks but the difference will be substantial. So keep that in mind before you purchase these. Over all though, I would 100% recommend these. My friends all think I aim super well, and I attribute that to these, hahah. But don’t expect to go pro once you put them on, they give you a minor advantage, nothing more. You will still have to have skill in order to perform well.

Great, helps, usable. Simple and perfect for gaming use. I use them for Siege 6 but others games are perfect with the non-slip.
