I always wanted a litter box without making it obvious. It always felt like litter boxes and the look of them are kinda icky. This is a great way to have your cat have their way and make yourself happy as well. Attached is a pic of the litter box in my study. Love how I can have the best of both world: a potty for the kitty without making it obvious. it doesn’t look cheap. It’s fair to assemble. It feels high quality and sturdy. I love this thing. It would be better if they can make one taller and in different colors though..

If you have cats, this is a MUST! I finally broke down and bought this after having it on my wish list for a while. I had bought several different types of litter boxes because we always dealt with the litter box stinking. I thought if I got a covered litter box it would help but it did not. I have to say, this piece of furniture is the real deal! It is functional, cute and perfect for the litter box. It was pretty easy to put together but it did take about an hour to an hour a half. I love that the litter box it hidden and not just out in the open any more. It does help keep down with the smell and it really helps not get litter all over the floor. I recommend this for anyone who has cats!

This thing is very sturdy. I'm really impressed with the weight and solid construction. Took me about an hour and a half by myself to put together. I did use a power tool for most of the screws and I think that saved a lot of time because there are a LOT of screws. But that is a good thing, not a bad thing. It is not even remotely flimsy. This is a great height to use in the laundry room, which is where I put it and it took the kitties about five minutes to rush to use the fresh kitty litter once I had the box inside it. it looks nice but mostly it is super sturdy and a good design since the entrance is in the front instead of the side, meaning it can go up pretty much anywhere. I think it would be pretty easy to put an electric litter box inside as well, though I just used a really deep, large box without a cover. I'm so impressed I'm buying a second one for the kitty closet under the stairs.

I'm not afraid to pay extra for solid wood furniture. With that being said I was a little suspicious of this cabinet but chalked it up to something we needed in a hurry, it was inexpensive and it'll get me by for the time being. Well, it's not exactly high quality but I'm pretty satisfied with it for what it is. I do believe you're getting your money's worth here. Slow down, take your time, read the damn instructions and it's not that hard to assemble. I'd certainly recommend it.

I’ve had this shelf for a few years now and it’s great. Really sturdy, it has held up over the years. I put my cats litter box in there and they use it all the time. The extra walk way keeps litter from getting on the floor and you can’t smell the liter box unless someone doesn’t cover their mess in there. Super easy to clean their litter box too, just open the doors and pull the box out.

**edit** as a solution to my super messy cats I found a plastic tote that just fit inside the cabinet to contain as much mess as possible. Gotta keep the litter a bit deeper to avoid having to clean in the bottom cracks, and it won’t have any handles for getting it in an out but if I’m careful sliding it and take my time it’s no problem. It will definitely be worth it. (Once the cats actually use it…literally just made this) If anyone wants to know: tin snips, like for cutting metal sheeting or roofing, work amazing at cutting heavy duty plastics. Just take your time and be careful, small bites and cut off sections as you go especially around corners if its a stiff, brittle plastic like this tote was. Be too rough or take too big of snips or don’t relieve the pressure in certain places and it will crack where you don’t want **** This was actually the first thing I’ve ever bought online with metal parts, that had such nice clean holes, and not only were they drilled nicely, they were placed where they were supposed to be- I didn’t have to file any or drill new holes- it was exactly perfect. This is also the first product with any welds I’ve gotten online that had nice smooth and sturdy welds. Construction gets an A+ My cats like to dig deep and hard- they’ll throw half the litter out of the tub. And one of my cats has a tendency to miss the box entirely and pee outside. He’s a big boy (not Maine Coon big, but big enough he has a hard time fitting in some normal kitty things.) So for them specifically this wasn’t the best thing for litter. They are way easier to clean up after if I use a normal fully enclosed box with a flap door. I did manage for a while though with a little dust Broom for bigger mess and a handheld vacuum for smaller mess. So for now the cabinet has a bed inside instead and I’ll give them their larger treats (like dried minnows) in there where they can have time to eat them before the dogs steal it. It’s nice to have a dog free zone for them that isn’t the countertop. And it’s nice having a place to feed them where I don’t mind their kitty crumbs so much. I’ve never had such messy cats before. They even get food everywhere. I also like that the shelves are rated for so much weight- heck it’s nice this even says the weight limits at all. Most furniture doesn’t say or is not strong enough for my needs. I was looking at a different litter cabinet - a bench seat, until I saw that it could only support like 80 lbs or something- as a seat. It wouldn’t even withstand a child or mid sized dog sitting on it. A seat only for cats is seriously not practical in a small home- this cabinet and shelf on the other hand- very practical. So good job on this one :)
