I don't put the cup part in the dishwasher because of the stainless steel. I don't drink hot beverages but I'm sure it's just as efficient in keeping beverages hot as it does cold.

Great cup! Has held up well and keeps drinks insulated. I use this exclusively for my iced coffee drinks I make at home and it's perfect. It keeps it cold all day and it's a good amount of space. It doesn't really spill. The seal is pretty good. If it's full and it tips it will spill a little but it's not too bad. It's very easy to use and it's simple which I LOVE. Some of the other of cups I've bought recently (even from Slim Modern) have more mechanisms inside and it effects the ability to drink, but not this one! I will definitely be buying another one of these at some point!
