I normally don’t post product reviews, but the Formovie was such a game changer for me in terms of viewing experience that I had to leave one. Not only is the picture quality off the charts, even the sound of the built-in speakers is completely immersive and satisfying as a home theatre experience. Although I had already heard so many good things about these before purchasing, I was blown away well beyond what my expectations were. The brightness is remarkable, especially considering my room has light coming into it in the daytime and is by no means a dedicated theatre room. Everything I watch is vibrant and nuanced with detail that just pops in ways I’ve never noticed before with any other setup. This is now my primary and only means of watching movies and tv series and is the main fixture of my living room. On top of all I already knew before getting this projector, the price point is what drew me in and sealed the deal for me. Outstanding value for a product of this level.

After doing lot of research finally decided to buy this projector. Generally we see projectors from other reputed brands like epson, LG, samsung etc. sold in electronic stores. You see this projector being sold there. But if you do some research, you will get to know about this projector being talked about mostly on reddit and other forums and on YouTube. Pros The quality of picture is amazing(especially when you watch 4k and 8k content). I was initially looking for an oled tv, but since my room bigger decided to go with the projector and picture quality wise it came very close to meeting my expectations. The sounds of this projector is crisp. For this price range the projector is worth the money. Cons The app is bit slow and sluggish. The remote could have been better. The remote doesn't come with batteries, so make sure you have couple of AAA batteries. If your room has ambient light, you may need to spend some money buying ALR screen.

Broken unit on delivery. Blinks non stop and has no attempt to power on. Others online reported same issue. What a buzz kill after a bad weekend and being excited to come home to this delivered.

Edit: After two years, the projector developed a dead pixel on the DMD chip. The extended warranty I purchased through Asurion was straight forward until it was time for them to actually pay the refund they said they were giving me. It took weeks to get my refund, and I do not recommend them as a warranty provider. The projector was great while it worked and I had it, but unfortunately the chip that was used was an old chip and pushed to the max to get the picture it gives. Great in theory, bad in practice as it was guaranteed to eventually fail. Coming from a 75" tv that was loaded with Dolby Vision, 120hz, VRR, and ALLM, this projector really surprised me. I did my due diligence before I made my purchase and did what I think was too much research. For the cost out of the box, thing is pretty impressive. And then you start to tweak the settings and it really comes alive! I paired it with an ALR/CLR screen that's 103" from Elite Screens, and wow did my movies and gaming come to life in a big way. I haven't had any problems with the setup or use, so I cannot comment on the customer service of Formovie, but from other reviews I've read, it's pretty top notch. My only complaint is that the remote isn't backlit, but once it's setup if you are using any kind of programmable universal remote, you shouldn't need it. If you're on the fence about going to a UST over a tv, for the cost you're never going to find a tv that does what this UST does up to 150". I'm glad I went with this one for my home theater setup.

This projector exceeded my expectations and checked all the boxes. The colors are incredibly vibrant, making every scene come to life with rich, true-to-life colors. The black levels are deep and well-defined, which was especially noticeable during darker scenes—no washed-out grays or poor contrast at all. The overall picture quality is crisp and clear, delivering a cinematic feel right in my living room. The built-in sound system is another great feature. It’s surprisingly powerful sound for a projector with strong bass and clear dialogue. It paired wonderfully with my home audio setup for an even more immersive experience. Setup was straightforward. I also appreciate the sleek, modern design, which fits nicely into my home entertainment space. We've watched movies, played games, and streamed content, this projector delivers a top-tier experience. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend the Formovie theater projector to anyone who wants an immersive, high-quality viewing experience without breaking the bank.

Wish I read the reviews better. This remote issue has been known, so why have they not found a solution or provide better customer service so we can deal with problem. I’m returning.

s/w is laggy at times, had audio issues few times (sound doesn't come out) - had to restart to fix it, Most importantly, connected Chromecast Ultra to play Netflix in 4K. This projector doesn't detect my Chromecast Ultra in 4K. Reached out to support multiple times, no help, they don't even understand basic english and no help. Tried couple of options they suggested after few tries, and still no help. Wish I could return this projector.

This is an amazing projector with great contrast, resolution and black levels. I own a newer oled and this doesn't feel very far behind it which is remarkable. I use a receiver with speakers so can't speak to it's sound but Arc works well. The color is also great out of the box, but I'm sure calibration would improve it further. There are jaw dropping moments with this projector when the visuals are exceedingly great. Highly recommend getting the Formovie if you are looking for a UST.

Après avec essayé un jmgo N1 Ultra qui ne correspondait par complètement à mes attentes, le formovie theater est clairement un excellent produit. Ne souhaitant pas disposer d'un écran spécialisé qui occuperait le mur de mon salon, je l'utilise sur un mur blanc. Et la qualité est malgré tout extraordinaire. Sur mur blanc, il peut être utilisé la journée mais il esr préférable de ne pas avoir une fenêtre directement à côté et qui apporterait trop de lumière. Néanmoins, ça marche plutot bien malgré tout. Le plein potentiel se passe donc en soirée où les couleurs sont pratiquement dignes d'un Oled pour en avoir posséder 2 par le passé. Les noirs sont très corrects également pour un vidéoprojecteur. Le son bower et wilkins qui accepte le dolby Atmos et dts:x est de très bonne facture également et permet de ne pas avoir obligatoirement une barre de son. Même si un peu de basses en plus serait appréciable. Après avoir testé le jmgo et posséder plusieurs tv oled, je ne regrette pas cet achat qui me permet de regarder des films en 150" au maximum.

Une qualité d'image incroyable, même sur un mur blanc et même en journée si la lumière ne tape pas directement Le prix fait mal aux yeux mais c'est un produit haut de gamme qui les vaut largement Il est assez lourd et assez encombrant, prévoir de la place que les côtés pour la ventilation

No after sell service, just after 2 years i have issues with the image, there’s a dark stripe at the left of the screen, wrote to the seller for him to honour the warranty and had no response. Seems the more you pay the less service you have these days…I recommend you don’t buy this laser, it’s slow and doesn’t respond well also.
