K KRIËGER 150 Watt Pure Sine Wave Power Inverter, 12V Car Charger with Plug Outlet, Inverter with Dual USB Ports (Quick Charge 3.0), AC Outlet & DC Cord Included - ETL Approved Under UL STD 458

First of all I am using the KP1100 inverter to power my RV refrigerator while traveling on the road to avoid using propane(SAFETY CONCERNS). After receiving the inverter from Amazon and reading the installation instructions, installing the unit was easy. I am very satisfied with the unit and it supplies sufficient voltage and wattage for the refrigerator. A very well built unit. But, the top reason for this review is TECH SUPPORT. The unit displays temperature in Celsius and the instructions did not have the procedure to change display degrees to Fahrenheit. I called tech support,(Randall),and I was on the phone less than 1 minute before talking to him. He was very polite, knowledgeable, and helped me with my issue. Other Tech Supports should take notes from this company.

It is a pure sinewave inverter. Designed for your car's 12v lighter plug.Duracell is selling the same one, with Duracell colors and branding, but I am pretty sure Krieger is the original manufacturer for both.It works as expected, I have had a pretty good experience so far and I prefer Krieger than some non brand models for $5 less.it is rated at 150W, which is perfect, since your car can probably deliver much less than that through the plug (12Vx10A=120W). nice touch is that the cable can be removed from the unit .had some trouble plugging it in all the way. Plug is pretty rigid, but it needs to be like that, so it stays firmly plugged in during charging.There are two cons as far as i can see, hence the 4 stars:1) it does not have on/off switch, so I suggest you unplug after use, to make sure you don't drain car battery overnight.2) it runs pretty hot, almost too hot to hold, even with the built in fan. Not sure if that is okay or not, so far I had no issues with it.Other than these, great little Inverter!

Trying to find inverter to power a 2021 MacBook Pro in a 2020 RDX. The 2020 RDX lighter plug supports up to 15A. I couldn't find full specs on Amazon page, but took a chance. When the Krieger 150 Watt Pure Sine Wave Power Inverter is plugged in, the RDX True Touchpad stopped working, the power to my iPhone (via car's USB) and power to the laptop (inverter) began cycling on and off. Looking on the inverter, it says input is 16A. Oh well. This inverter is too much for the RDX to handle and useless for my purposes. Will keep looking for an alternative inverter.Giving 2 stars, since, while it doesn't help me, it seems to be decently constructed.

This is a nice little inverter. It's only slightly larger than a 12oz. soda can. This weekend's test was a a 10-inch desk fan for over 6 hours straight. It handled this with no issues. The DC side pulled a steady 5A @ 11.5V the entire time (which works out to about 58 watts of input power). Don't worry... the batteries settled in at 12.4V under load. The diodes in the battery load balancing circuit burn about 0.9V, and 11.5 is still within the published safe operating range for the inverter.I did try using the USB ports to power/charge a USB speaker while the speaker was being used. That didn't go too well. The USB charging output is noisy and all but wiped out the music when the speaker was plugged in. Not a big deal for me. Just know that the USB output is noisy.The only thing that I think could be improved is the DC connection. You get a wire with a small polarized plug at one end and a fused "cigarette lighter" plug at the other. There is no terminal strip for running wires directly to a battery bank. But I suspect the target for this product is people who want to run a laptop or similar device while in the car, so it kinda' makes sense. Having the option would be nice though.

Needed for trip and ordered on prime day. As soon as the package arrived i opened the envelope to se it was out of its box bouncing around from Orlando to Commerce City on UPS. When bought said it would arrive the 18th to 20th. Must of been a mess up inventory as it wasn't shipped till much later and only received July 31. Plugged in to known outlet. No lights. Tried the other included fuse. Still no lights. Took to UPS to drop off return. Still not refund credited!

Solo lo he ocupado un par de veces y funciona adecuadamente, con otro convertidor los focos de LED parpadean y los UPS no cargaban, y con este modelo ya no parpadean y los UPS cargan sin problema, lo recomiendo

This is sold on Amazon Australia yet is not suitable for Australian AC appliances. It is only 110v while Australia uses 220-240v. It does not say anywhere in the speil that it isn't suited to Australian appliances. DON'T BUY IF IN AUSTRALIA!

Everything included with this unit seems ok. Inverter performance seems fine. It’s in use at my cottage and time will tell if its longevity was worth the price. So far it’s great and recommend you give it a try. If you need a constant 1500 watts I’d use a larger model as I don’t believe in maxing out the wattage.
