Great machine at a good price.
Wonderful. Lovely to have the milk frother, coffee so tasty. I bought the L'0r and the 'same as' coffee, much cheaper than their own brand. Great price. Lrge but to be expected. Easy to clean and empty. Large water container which saves keeping filling.

Great product. Great Value.
Got this on sale and it is fantastic. Needed for my rugby club to make coffees for spectators. The dual spouts are great and the frother is quick. Nie design and great value for money. Highly recommend.

Great coffee, lots of options, easy to use…
Great machine, easy to use with lots of options for a range of excellent coffees. We’ve used a Nespresso machine for years and it’s just given up the ghost but after loads of research we gave this one a try and it’s perfect.

Great machine, highly recommended, be even better if it warmed milk
Makes excellent coffee and milk frother is good, only reason for not giving 5 stars is you have to warm milk up yourself

Amazing Machine
I brought this coffee machine for our office. It arrived very well packaged, and from using it, its amazing. It was very easy to setup, and you can be up an running in no time. After using this machine for a while, it can make some noise, but nothing too much that bothers me personally. The milk frother also works great, and froths the milk a good level of froth. I will mention that I would like this machine to have froth modes, but for price, it does a great job. In terms of coffee pods, I like the fact you don't have to use lor coffee pods only, you can use your supermarket versions, which can save money. However, after trying all the lor coffee pods, intensities 7-12, I like them all. A mix of 7 individual different packs of coffee is around £40, this sounds alot but I believe there is 7-10 pods. Either way, that's a lot of coffee to work through, so for £40 your getting 7-12 intensitys with different flavours of coffee, my pack had decaf, if your a decaf coffee drinker.

Brilliant machine that makes lovely coffee
Of course, the flavour of the coffee is down to the capsules you buy, but, having never had one of these types of machine before, I'm completely sold on the convenience. I have a small espresso machine and seperate bean grinder, and froth the milk using the espresso machine's spout, and this is great, but involves a fair bit of cleaning. The Philips, on the other hand, is cleaned in a minute or so, quickly removing the relevant parts and running them under the tap, wiping off, etc. Even the milk frother takes no time at all to clean, so long as it's done straight after use. Some users find the frother not to their likiing, but it's perfect for me. Filling it half to the "max" line does a single cup of milk with practically no liquid left, and to the line leaves some hot milk and enough froth for 2 cups. Given it's only producing coffee for one or two cups at a time, that seems fair. The milk comes out beautifully, just as required for cappucino, for example. For a latte, it's not going to give you the same amount of hot milk liquid plus foam needed - but the machine isn't really aimed at that drink. I've not yet tried the cold milk setting - the weather's not been so blazingly sunny since I received the machine. I'm using it with Odd Coffee pods to make use of normally disposed of coffee, but given it takes the original Nespresso type, there's a wide range of choice out there. Personally, I think it's worth every penny paid.

If you ain’t got one, you’re missing out !!!
Well what can I say Except !!! If you haven’t got this machine you truly are missing out ! I chose this machine as I have been through different brands and so far this one trumps them A*** for quality , reliability and easy to use . The milk frother is easy to clean and easy to use and the creamiest of milk for your milky drinks .

Competitive dual unit, yet more bitter coffee than Krups Nespresso machines and inadequate frother.
I purchased this machine whilst having simultaneous use of a Krups Inisia Nespresso pod machine and so was able to make a comparison... Both very easy to use machines, yet the L'Or has the additional affixed milk frother/heater & can utilise the L'Or exclusive double pods to produce two separate espresso coffees from the double spout system (or one lungo coffee from the same larger pod). The L'Or also accepts the smaller classic Nespresso pods as well as the double L'Or ones that work with this machine... This might initially seem a bonus but something you may well later forgo given that only L'Or currently make these and they're not really very low priced. Like me, you might just continue to use two of your favourite cheaper supermarket Nespresso (one after the other) to achieve the same thing. The milk frother attached to this machine does somehow seem to over froth the milk (ie pure froth) at the same time as producing one that dissipated quickly in the cup. You can reduce the frothing effect by removing the frother spring, but this reduces the froth to too little yet still very quick to disappear. It does heat the milk well, but I did find it disappointing. Krups Nespresso variants (including the Inisia) don't have the attached frother although the Krups Citiz does have one attached also. In terms of the coffee itself, I tried three different supermarket grade pods in each machine and consistently found that the L'Or machine produced a far inferior crema whilst also leaving the coffee tasting noticeably more bitter. I'm not sure why, but it really does. I later found that both the bitterness and the poor cream are both common complaints of this L'Or machine. So on that basis, mine was returned. It seems also that all Krups type Nespresso machines do work internally exactly the same with the same specs and are purported to produce the same results, although some (as in the case of the currently available Pixie) are better built. That being said the Krups Pixie and a separate decent milk frother will come to around double the price of this single unit. L'Or Pros: Very low price for a coffee pod machine and milk frother combined / easy to use and keep clean / potentially useful double pod size in addition to standard Nespresso / hotter coffee than Nespresso machines. L'Or Cons: Milk frother produces a thin yet overfrothed product / replacement double pods only produced by L'Or and thus expensive / coffee notably bitter in comparison with Krups Nespresso machines (I'm not sure why but this is well documented in reviews) / poor cream that quickly dissapates and doesn't match the Krups Nespresso produced coffee. My conclusion: Notably bitter coffee in comparison with Krups machines (why, I have no idea?) & inadequate milk frother make this a cheap machine that still produces better coffee than cafetiere or instant. Other independent reviews from trustworthy sources do however rate Krups Nespresso machines as far better & that is absolutely my finding too. On that basis I'd probably rate it as 3.5 stars, but this one went straight back and I'm currently awaiting delivery of a Krups Nespresso Pixie (renowned for its build quality and longevity) and separate milk frother at (admittedly) double the combined price...
