Fixed my shifting issues
I had a slightly bent cassette that was causing shifting issues. Unfortunately, that meant I needed a replacement. I normally like to upgrade when I have to replace my bike parts, but after reading reviews, these GX Eagle cassettes seem to be a better value than the higher end ones by Sram. They cost less and last longer, so I decided to just replace it with the exact model I already had. It was an easy swap and 100% fixed my shifting issue. Not much else to say other than it is Sram, who makes high quality parts. My shifting is now smooth again!

Smooth Performance & Great Upgrade
The SRAM XG-1275 GX Eagle 12-Speed Cassette has been a great upgrade. It fit perfectly, shifts smoothly across all gears, and the quality is exactly what I expected from SRAM. Very happy with the performance so far.

Who needs X0? The GX Eagle 12-speed system works just as good with the same benefits of 12-speed, all for about $375!
The SRAM XG-1275 GX Eagle 12-speed cassette is... big. The cassette itself arrived in excellent packaging with the actual product positioned almost like a presentation. The second I opened the box, I was taken back at the dinner plate-sized 50t cog - it's larger in diameter compared to my 180mm rear brake disc! The cassette itself is nicely built, with full pinned cogs for a one-piece installation (XD Driver compatible only). Installation was a breeze, and I was rolling in no time. Coming from an 11-speed Sunrace cassette (which was quite good, actually), the GX Eagle cassette was still much better. The 50t cog let me climb uphill trails with more distance and less effort. During shifting, the chain shifted up and down the cassette gears with precision and barely any noise - a welcome absence, since I was used to the shift noise of the Sunrace cassette I was using previously. I did not weigh the GX Eagle cassette for comparison, but even with the extra gear it felt pretty close to my old 11-speed cassette in terms of weight. NOTE: I purchased the GX Eagle 12-speed rear derailleur, XG-1275 GX Eagle 12-speed cassette, GX Eagle 12-speed trigger shifter, and GX-Eagle 12-speed chain. The next portion of text will be repeated in my reviews for the other items as well) Coming from an 11-speed setup, and I can't tell you how big of an improvement/upgrade it was! For the price of entry (about $375 for the groupset, minus the cranks) the entire GX Eagle system works so well, it feels just like the X01 Eagle system but without the gold bling and more importantly - at a very affordable price point. Shifting is crisp and satisfying. Drive train noise is actually surprisingly quiet. Thanks to the wide range of gears (and the 50t cog!) I can tackle more climbs for longer time periods with less effort. I'm completely happy that I made this upgrade to GX Eagle, looks like SRAM has made 12-speed both reliable and wallet friendly. I wish I had this group set a long time ago!

Better than SX/NX
Purchased for a NX to GX conversion. Overall the one piece design felt more solid than the multiple pieces of the NX cassette, yet is significantly lighter (36% lighter than the NX. Install was a breeze and I had the new cassette installed in minutes, even with swapping the driver to XD from the microspline that was on there before. The bike shifts well and accurately, and think the GX cassette looks a little nicer too.

GX Eagle is great new, can get finicky over time
This new cassette has made my drive train shift like new. It is about $83 (35%) cheaper than I can find locally which made it worth waiting the 2+ weeks it took to receive it. This was shipped from France which I have to assume is part of the reason it can be sold for so much less than local retail even with the shipping costs. So I'll admit I waited too long to replace my original GX Eagle cassette (2,100 miles) and in the end a lot of my shifting problems were due to the worn condition (more than a few gears had the shark tooth profile). I did change my chain twice in those miles and overall had a pretty good experience and will continue to ride using the Eagle platform. I can't comment on the entire GX system as I'm running an X01 derailleur and shifter with the GX cassette and chain. I can say this is a somewhat finicky 12 speed system and does require adjustment over time. The Eagle B screw tool is absolutely necessary and if you don't have the B screw gap set appropriately it is unlikely you'll get the crisp quick shifting you are looking for. Having had experience with Shimano, I'd say if you aren't mechanically included and like to work on your bike you might be better served with Shimano's new 12 speed system although you need a rear hub that is compatible. If you are already in the Sram Eagle ecosystem you probably will need to continue due to the cost of converting to the competition. GX is the cheapest eagle cassette you can run if you have an XD driver, the NX is made for the older Shimano hubs. That's a little disappointing when compared to Shimano as you can get their new SLX 12 speed cassette for around $100 compared to the normal retail for GX Eagle of $225.

Long lasting
Had to replace after 5 years of use. I ordered the same thing that came off of the bike because I love how well the Eagle 12 speed works and lasts longer than any previous drivetrain that I’ve used. Keep chains replaced when they wear and the front ring occasionally as well and this cassette will last a long time
