Provence Buffet with Wine Storage (IVORY)

I tend to shy away from buying furniture online sight unseen, but I needed something for my dining room ASAP before Christmas. After shopping other home furnishing sites online (where you have to put everything together yourself), I decided to browse Amazon. I saw this and my husband and I both liked it and knew it was the perfect size and color for our dining room. We (okay, my husband mostly!) put it together in about an hour. The only problem was that there was one screw missing (we improvised). It is a really sturdy piece. The cabinets have a removable shelf inside. Liquor bottles easily fit inside without the shelf. The drawers are a decent size. I love the wine rack on the bottom, which can be used for wine or possibly wicker baskets, etc. The price was excellent compared to similar products from other online sights. Contents of package (one very large box) were excellently packed and there was no damage to any of the pieces. Definitely recommend.

This was purchased to use in my sewing room for storage. I cannot be more pleased than I now am! This is a beautiful piece of furniture. Yes, it's a bear to put together. BUT, the hardware and screws were all packaged separately in red bags, one to each kind of hardware. The directions are printed in order of installation, with pictures of the parts and the screws, etc that are to be used to make that portion of the buffet. It does take awhile, to do the assembly, but if you lay out the little red bags which are numbered, 1-25, in order, it can be done without tearing your hair out. DH and I did it in about 2 hours, because we were going slow. The buffet was well packed, no blemishes seen on it anywhere. My only complaint about this furniture is that the bottom of the drawer, is a little thin piece of plywood, probably around 1/8 inch thick. Everything else is really sturdy, most of it is a hardwood, and the panels are a compressed mdf that is really heavy. I don't plan on using this where there might be moisture, so the mdf panels are not an issue. We bought 2 of these buffets and will assemble the 2nd one much faster I am sure. And if I ever have any problem with the drawer bottoms, I am sure that I can fix it easily with another piece under the first one. I look forward to having this in my sewing room instead of the cheap looking sewing room furniture being sold for $1000 of dollars these days. Oh, I forgot to add that every hole was pre-drilled and in the correct place. And even the insides of the drawers and shelves are beautifully stained. If you want to, the back is so beautifully done, even the screws that support the back piece are pretty, you could sit this out away from the wall, it is that pretty.

Wow, to say this is a quality product is so true! It is even more beautiful in person. All the parts bags were numbered and the wood items were lettered. The instructions were very easy to follow, and it was actually a fun project for my husband and I together. It took about 3 hours to assemble. We couldn't believe the quality and the weight of this piece. Definitely recommend it. We had done a lot of shopping around to find something like this and we're so happy we decided to order it. Better quality than many much higher priced ones out in the stores.

This is a nice sturdy piece of furniture, instructions were a little confusing and wrong at times but with a little understanding it went together fine. Only problem was the top piece was damaged but I repaired it and since it was in the back it did not show, damage underneath top also. (see attached photos) What I would like is a small vial of paint (gray), the bottom short legs had some paint missing, just needs a touch up.The instructions say if you have a problem, contact their customer service but no where is a address, email or phone number!

Nice piece, but instructions are slightly confusing with left/ right/ front back- as you're not sure what's what when first assembling. Drawers are short- could be 1/3 of the size longer (there is empty space at the back), which is annoying. And material scratches easily. Otherwise, looks beautiful and was a good solution for what we needed. HEAVY & solid when assembled.

This buffet was the perfect fit for our rustic dining room. It has a beautiful design. It was a bit tricky to put together, but with some effort, we got the job done. I was disappointed, though, that the top part arrived with some chipped paint in the front left corner (very visible). I didn't notice it until it was almost completely put together so I settled for the flaw. My advice would be to order this item, but also to inspect each piece before you put it together.

Would give 5 *s but the instructions were horrible, all the items were mislabeled, and there was a chunk taken out if the front . Nice piece if furniture when assembled though, just frustrating.

This is a pretty good quality product and its nice a looking pice. It is real wood and its fairly straight forward to put together. Its worth every penny of the price in my opinion. .
