Perfect fit for my 2014 Ford Fiesta SE. lifetime filter installed in 8 minutes
I purchased this for my 2014 Ford Fiesta SE. I used a 15 torx bit to loosen the 4 screws holding the housing down. There was a fair amount of oil on the gasket. I wiped this off before installing. It took me 8 minutes to install from when I went into the garage till I came back in the house. The reason I know is my wife had a timer going for dinner. I think I noticed a slight throttle response improvement after installing.I have used a K&N on my 2008 Ford Fiesta for 150,000+ miles I had zero issues. I cleaned the filter once or twice during that time. Cleaning is easy. Spray with K&N 99-0621 Air Filter Cleaner and Degreaser (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00029WYDU) and rinse with water. Then leave it to dry. I waited 24 hours. Then put K&N 99-0533 Air Filter Oil (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00029WYD0) on each ridge and allow a little time for it to soak in. Make sure the oil soaked the whole filter then place it back in the car.

Noticeable performance gain
2014 Ford Fiesta SE 1.6, 5 speed. Easy install, half the thickness then the stock paper one. It's already oiled so just drop in.You have to reset your ECU to get any difference from this filter. More air flow needs to be 'learnt' by the computer. Just remove both cables from your battery while you do the filter install, hook up up the battery, start and allow to idle for a couple of minutes, or until the engine speed settles at idle.Quicker pickup, removed a low end splutter on fast take off. Worth the money, without the fact it lasts forever. I haven't measured my milage, so I'll see.Long time K&N filters on motorcycles and never had problems, just clean, oil and drop back in. Always noticed improved performance.

Great product
I have been using K&N Air Filters for better than a decade now. On this particular application, I noticed that the thickness of the filter was reduced dramatically. The OE was near 2 inches in depth compared to the K&N less than 1 inch. I was not expecting (but hoping for) improved performance or fuel economy. What I have noticed is that there is now little to no throttle lag when I apply the accelerator. This is true for both starting from a stop, or reapplying the accelerator after turning a corner. I contribute this to the reduced amount of filter media the air needs to pass through.Another point of consideration is that an OE style filter for this application is a bit expensive (approx. $20). This filter will pay for it self within 30,000 miles (if you normally replace a filter around every 15,000 miles). Also it is an easy install. I have my 6 and 3 year old sons do most of the work. I love teaching them automotive and handy work at such a young age!

K&N Filters -- Highly Recommended!
I first purchased a K&N air filter for a 2002 MINI Cooper that I owned, and loved the results. Now, with a Ford Fiesta, I decided to try the 33-2955 model. Although I have not conducted scientific tests, the car seems to have slightly better pickup (particularly in the 2,500 to 3,000 rpm range), and is getting slightly better gas mileage. One of the side effects of K&N filters and their slightly more-difficult-to-install air intake systems is that you tend to hear a bit more engine noise. And, in the Fiesta, which is very quiet as small hatchbacks go, it makes the car sound sportier. I've spoken with many people who use K&N filters in their daily drivers and collector cars, and this really is a product that lives up to its claims. The only downside is that, when you do clean and re-oil the filter, it can get a little messy. The benefits clearly outweigh this slight inconvenience, though.

2015 Fiesta 1.6L
I bought this. So far I used it today and it seems like my mpg dropped a pretty good bit. How much? Well ill calculate that when i get to the pump and fill her up and ill post it. I also got a ecometer which was really worth the money. I think the only thing good is you can reuse the filter and clean it. Other then that, i cant think of anything else. Sounds pretty close to the stock filter unless you sit there in your driveway like an idiot reving your engine, then it sounds a bit better. But is that really worth the $45? Well, i cant decide everything for you. I might return mine in all honesty and by the stock filter. I think its better when it comes to MPG and the sound is not much off unless you rev it at a stop light but when your on the freeway and get on the pedal while already in motion, it sounds exactly the same and even feels the same. Its really up to you the consumer. Hope this helps you, I dont want to be to negative, just an honest review.Update, I was wrong about the gas mileage. I calulated it at the pump. I drive 137miles, 3.1Gallons to fill-up. So divide that and you get 44.1MPG. I also bought the ecometer if anyones thinking about it. Worth the investment.

So far so good.
Haven't had any issues with this air filter so far. Haven't experienced anything out of the ordinary outside a slightly more pronounced induction sound when I floor it. My Fiesta seems a little more lively with the drop-in air filter.Would recommend this for a long term air filter solution if you're not planning to get an intake system. I would also recommend this coupled with one step colder spark plugs if you're into tuning options. Good item for the money.
