Pleased with the tips. They allow the cane to stand up by itself. We did lose one on an airplane or in the airport (it probably got caught on something), so we had to buy a standard tip until we returned home and bought another one of these.

I've been reluctant to add a quad tip to my cane since i felt like it screams 'feeble OLD woman'. However due to severe hip arthritis and total hip replacement i needed the stability of the quad. At first it was very heavy to me but now that i'm used to it i don't even notice that. I love the added stability it gives me and how it stands my cane upright instead of having to find somewhere to lean it and having to pick it up off the floor. I don't care any more what it 'screams' because for me it says 'freedom' to get around much easier & safer. The only one drawback is it isn't flat on the bottom and the nooks & crannies down there easily pick up dog poop in my yard and it's hard to clean it out.

My old cane tip did not stand up to my daily use. It broke down around it's core, it would no longer stand up on its own, but fell repeatedly, breaking the battery case, push-button and lighting system on my expensive walking cane. I was able to repair my cane and I found this heavy-duty tip that really stands up to my heavy use. My cane now stands alone without falling and I don't have to bend over to pick it up all the time. So far so good. I expect it is going to hold up better. We shall see.

Works great on my offset cane. I have balance problems and my cane stands upright beside me when I don’t hold onto it. It makes the cane easily accessible. It is very stable. The broader base makes it expert to use.

This is an excellent addition to one of my canes. It's easy to install and is very well made. Adds a layer of confidence for me.

I have purchased multiples of this foot & love it, but the incessant squeaking inside the cane has driven me crazy!!! I finally found a cheap, easy solution that works - talc. Sprinkle a little inside the foot & around the bottom of the cane. Voila! No squeaking! Now it gets 5 stars.

I like the feel of more stability with the quad tip. I haven’t noticed any squeaking when using or any other problems. This is the second cane I replaced the tip on. I found it is easier to remove the old tip, if I heat the cane with a hair dryer. Be sure to measure the diameter of the lower part of the cane. This only fits 3/4”.
