I'm using this as a heart monitor for exercising in VR, and it turned out to be a little shaky with the software I normally use but I was able to find an open source application that can read the monitor and display/output measured heart rate. Not a typical use for these, I know they're intended for gym equipment/mobile app use while biking, etc, so I don't mind having to do some extra work, and it did sync to my PC's bluetooth gracefully so it did its part of the job no problem! Let's talk about the charge cable, though. The charge port on the band is a pair of flat contacts, and the charge cable is a magnetic connecting port with two little prongs that press against the contacts when the magnets are aligned. This is fine in theory. HOWEVER, if you move the band while it's plugged in, the charge cable is all but guaranteed to just fall off the band; the cable is somewhat rigid, the band is very lightweight, and (most importantly) the magnets aren't strong enough to just hold the two things together when you're moving them. Additionally, the cable's very short (maybe 18" long?) so you're going to need to find a place to set the band that's near a USB port you can plug it into. Once you find a spot for it, it's okay, but I would strongly prefer a charger solution where the magnetic connector is on the side of the band so you can lay it flat, or Qi charging, or just a couple of stronger magnets. All in all, it does what it's supposed to do, and it works fine even being used for something weird like I'm doing with it. Band: 5/5 Charger cable: 2/5 Overall: 4/5

First charge took 48 hours and electricity used up in 20 minutes. After that, product does not charge, even after cleaning charging pads as suggested by Magene.

This is a great alternative to the more expensive HRM's out there. I have a couple Polar chest ones that my wife and I use, but for the boxing workouts I wanted to try an arm one. I have verified this works on iOS with my Health app, 14 Pro Max with latest update. It is very accurate on upper and lower forearm, is lightweight, and although I am not a big fan of how the arm band attaches, it was comfortable. Each side of the band goes through loops, and then secures on their respective sides; the problem is that when you are trying to get it on your arm they will continuously try to re-attach making it annoying to get it on. This is very minor and could just be because I have never used this style before. Definitely would recommend this as a lower cost option.

Ich hatte mit meinem alten Brustgurt-Herzfrequenzmesser nur Probleme. Irgendwie hat dieser nach kurzer Zeit immer die Verbidung abgebrochen. Fürs Trainieren wollte ich aber meine Herzfrequenz unbedingt sehen und wissen..... Mein Mann hat dann dieses Produkt - Herzfrequenzmesser Armgurt - entdeckt. Habe nicht lange überlegt und dieses gekauft. Bin voll zufrieden. Kann man selbst anlegen, verbindet sich mit diversen Geräten und hat bis jetzt noch keinen Aussetzer gehabt. Einfach toll!

Excellent piece of kit. Works brilliantly with my Meagane cycle computer. So no complaints. I've found that other HR monitors only seem to work with the same brand computer so can't comment on this for the Magene transmitter . Bear this in mind when selecting your training kit
