Hammerhead Spearguns Dentex Gloves - Nitrile Grip - Cut Resistant (Lv5) and Puncture Resistant (Lv3) - X-Large

These gloves are really great for spearfishing. I'm stuck between 3 stars for longevity (the Rubberoid coating does not last very long) and 5 stars for the other qualities (they are very cut resistant, resist punctures from dorsal fins, and are extremely comfortable). If you're a casual user, you probably won't care about the coating. If you buy these, know that because they are a yarn, they will smell slightly like fish even after a bleach wash...it just doesn't go away. That said, they are an excellent bang for the buck and I would highly recommend them for diving and spearfishing.Also, these are absolutely tremendous as filet gloves...thin enough for decent tactility and resilient enough to take nicks without injuring yourself. If you're hame fisted and stab yourself, these will not stop the blade. If you're careful, they let you go really fast without little cuts.

The gloves are nice looking. Thought they'd be more durable then one go. I'm a commercial diver in Florida and used these gloves for general boat work. After the first use a finger was cut open on a barnacle. Also has broken stitching that holds the protective rubber on. Just thought they'd be more durable than that. I would have just stuck with some fish cleaning gloves, they are a lot cheaper.

These work great, the only downfall is the first pair lasted approximately 2 years and the rubber coating started to dissolve or melt.I purchased them again, because I could not find an equivalent pair by anyone else.

After 2 weeks, these gloves work fine for my son's snorkeling. Not use how long these will last in salt water as the cotton material seems rather thin.

This is by far the most durable dive glove you could get .. would definitely buy again (if i ever manage to cut this one) ..highly recommended for all spearo's in warm waters ..Thanks Hammerhead for making such a quality product ..

Gloves are a life saver, hand saver!

These are great gloves. Use for fishing, construction demo and they have still held up.

Fits perfect. I have not tested limits of durability claims. Hopefully will not have to.
