Glass Nail File with Case, Bona Fide Beauty Glass

After weeks of searching for the right brand and learning as much as I can about these files I placed my order. Immediately after examining the quality of the nail file I knew this was far better than the other glass/crystal files I've seen/bought before. Before this file: my nails were dry with ridges, split all the time, and so weak that bending was a given. After using this file for a month: my nails are longer than ever (thanks to no more chipping) and I don't have to worry about snagging anymore. In this time I moisturized my nails, only filed the edges (no buffing), and applied a weekly clear coat. I minimized my routine to see how much of a difference this file would really have. In the end I've come out a believer and all I need now is a good nail clip (Yeah.. it's that good). Here are some of the claims/issues I was concerned about and how they held up in my experience: * this product won't damage your nails if you file in both directions -- I believe this is true but couldn't bring myself to do it (old habits), however I had some chips that were so bad I used the file to smooth the surface of that nail (something I'd never do w/ another file) * little to none nail film/flakes -- very true, so true I thought maybe it wasn't working... and .. it was. I'd never pull out a file to fix a nail in public b/c of gross flaking and now I can * durable -- have not tested this yet, and although I don't think it would shatter if it made an occasional crash landing (like others I've seen) - I wouldn't want to test that theory :( * maintains grit -- so far so good, also the grit is so smooth and not rough like others I've seen. * stylish - to be honest, I wasn't crazy about the look online but once in my hand I was sold - again. Filing my nails now takes a fraction of the time it used to and chipping is no longer an issue. I also don't have to compromise the length of my nails to get the shape I want. The search is over!

I'm a massage therapist, so have to keep my claws short. Using the usual sandpaper sticks or basically miniaturized bastard files on some products tear up my nails; always get hangnails as a result. First time trying these... couldn't believe how much they bit into the nail with minimal pressure... but also how smooth the finished surface was! Filing's so much easier now, takes half the time. I'm a male, so only a beneficiary to what women go thru to look and feel good about their nails... but I'm sold if they're raving like they are about this product -- in fact so impressed, this purchase was a gift to my mom, who's always had problems with splitting and hangnails due to her day job (lots of lifting and grasping heavy things). She was over the moon. Five stars just for that 😁 But this product's genuinely a game changer for anyone who has to put their hands on people, and needs to trim nails not to break skin. And for the price, got another Bona Fide set as a spare -- only thing you need to watch is where you store them, such as in a purse if you keep heavy things in it... files are still thin strips of glass, after all. I've been a fan of glass files for years. This one works wonders! I like the colored glass and matching case. The case does seem to pop open now and again. It's not the top quality file I'm sure but it works wonderful and gets the job done nicely. I really like the benefit of glass, it always seems to leave a smooth edge on my nails. I use it on my fingernails as well as toenails. It is glass so I'm be careful and don't drop it on hard surfaces, that's how I broke my last one. The end is pointed so that helps with nail care. I have one at home and I carry one in my purse . It makes a good gift too ! If you've never used a glass file before I highly recommend getting this to try. It'll change the way you care for your nails!

Very impressed by glass nail file. It’s 100 times better than the old metal files. I’ll be disposing of my old nail files and emery boards. From now on it’s only glass ones for me. One can file in any direction for the smoothest result ever. The file can be rinsed off with water or brushed off to clean. It is best kept in its carry case as being glass it could get broken if dropped on hard floor. Could last a lifetime if careful enough with it. As for the price, other vendors are selling sets of three files including protective cases for same cost as this one. So it pays to check around. Great product.

I’ve always used cardboard nail files. I’ve never found a reason to get a more expensive one, nor had I ever heard of glass nail files until recently. I decided to up my game a bit and purchase on of these glass nail files. First, I love that there are multiple color choices. Not a must-have for me, but it’s a nice touch. Next, it arrived very quickly. I just used it for the first time yesterday and today. I must say, it is a very pleasant change from the extra gritty nail files I’m used to using. This has a very fine, even grit and files your nails very smoothly. Because of the even grit, it takes off a bit more than those crappy drugstore files, though, so you need to have a light touch and a keen eye. Once you adjust to using it, however the experience is amazing. It also doesn’t seem like it will cause my nails to chip or crack or split because of how even and smooth the filing is, which is wonderful. All in all, I’m very pleased with my purchase.
