I own a more expensive name brand computer on my endurance bike, but I have 4 of these on casual rides.They do what they’re intended to do - track your speed and distance, and some extra things.The lights are activated based on the clock setting, so they won’t come on until the clock reads 6:00pm. Arbitrary, but better than no light.My biggest gripes:1) The magnet that attaches to the spokes - it’s huge compared to nicer models. Clearance can be an issue. You could also buy a replacement magnet from a name brand company for around $5 and still come out ahead. You can work around it in *most* situations if your wheel to fork clearance isn’t ridiculously small.2) And the adhesive tape that you are supposed to use in tandem with the supplied zip ties - it can stick *really* well to your beautiful paint. Use something else to pad your fork and handlebars from the plastic if you care about long term cosmetic damage. ### ⭐⭐ Barely usable piece of junk *by T***E on Reviewed in the United States on September 4, 2018* First of all this thing is huge compared to other bike computers. This makes it look like a piece of junk but I was more than willing to overlook that for the good price. What I couldn't overlook is the fact it doesn't work very well and the seller doesn't come through on promises made. Let me explain. First time I used it I stopped mid-ride and when I resumed I noticed the speed was rapidly fluctuating between a high value and a low value, like from 11 mph to 4 mph repeatedly, even though I was riding at a constant speed. This also messes up the odometer. I suspected the sensor was too far away from the display unit so I moved it as close as possible and well within spec. On my second ride the same thing happened. At that point I contacted the seller and he/she offered to send a replacement. I had to email them back and ask if they needed anything else from me. They responded that they needed my address which I provided. Of course, they could have said this to begin with. Days went by without hearing anything so I wrote back to request a tracking number to which they responded "we will find tracking ID for you". Several days passed again and I didn't hear from them so I contacted them and asked if they sent the replacement yet. They simply stated that "we will ask amazon solve it for you soon ,really so sorry for this problem". Haven't heard from them again so I've decided to send it back. I know they are just trying to string me along until the return period expires. At any rate, while waiting for their response I figured out what is really wrong with this thing. I have a light on my handlebars a few inches away from the bike computer. Whenever I turn the light on (mid-ride on my first two rides) the speed on the computer starts fluctuating. Turn the light off and the computer returns to normal operation. So the light must produce some interference that the computer is not rejecting. I have another bike computer that is 20 years old and works well with the same light. So this bike computer is obviously not designed very well to reject interference. Would never pass US testing procedures. My advice is if you only plan to use the thing in daylight and have no other electronic devices near the computer, like a cell phone, then maybe it would be OK.
