Great product for its price. It is easily broken but it’s an ice tray it’s not the end of the world. Apparently ice trays are 25 dollars now ?

The silicone bottom makes it super easy to remove the ice cubes from the tray. The only issue I have with it is the lid. It can be extremely hard to remove, especially when cold. I like the lid because my freezer shelf has a slight slope and the lid makes sure there’s no spills, and it allows you to stack the ice cube trays. I’m considering sanding down the connections for the lid to make it easier to get on and off.

They’re fine, both have cracked when trying to get the ice cubes out but they still work so I guess it’s fine

I needed ice trays with lids and found these. This makes it so much easier to get the ice cubes out with the silicon bottoms to push. The ONLY downside is that the cubes are slightly smaller than the ice tray I previously was using. That said, it works better for my smaller neck water bottle.

Been using these for about 3 months. Use them about twice a day. This morning as I was twisting it to loosen up the cubes when both the lid and the tray shattered on one. I was not doing anything crazy. Just my normal routine of twisting them a few times before dumping the ice into a bucket. About 15 tiny shards of plastic with sharp, ragged edges (see photo) flew in about a 6-foot radius around where I was standing, including landing in the dogs' bowls. Spent about 15 mins crawling around the floor and then vacuuming to get all the tiny pieces up. I'm pretty easygoing, but this is dangerous if a pet ingests these shards.Per my original review below, I had rather liked these, but not worth it after this expeince. Certainly not for the $11 they cost. And as I look at the reviews now, this shattering seems to happen with some frequency.Ice cube trays are not exactly a new invention, but these are effective. The rubber bottom does make it easy to remove the cubes (not that the old way of twisting a tray to break them loose was a big issue). The lids do NOT make them leak proof, but they do make it easy to stack them. So just be sure you have a flat space on which to put them in your freezer.

I bought this set of ice trays to try something different from the one I previously bought thinking they might be better. Nope, I was wrong. The ice compartments are a little shallow for my taste. The bottom rubber becomes hard once the ice is frozen making it difficult to push the ice out once they've been loosened. Then the ice sticks to the rubber making it even harder to push out. For some reason the ice was really hard to pull out of the compartment. As I struggled to get the ice out, using so much force the ice would end up on the counter or the floor adding to my frustration. To top it off, I dropped the ice tray after using so much force and the tray plastic ended up shattering on one end. I had to throw it away. I can't even return it now. I'm going back to the original set I bought.
